Naturally Wet

I love this lube. It feels delectably silky and smooth, and it's kind to both my body and the environment. An all-around winner!

Use

Sliquid's Organic Gel is my go-to lube whenever I want that extra-silky feeling. It's great for masturbation and makes your fingers slip delightfully, as well as vaginal penetration. I prefer a thicker lube for heavy anal play, but this would work just fine for anal fingering or light dilation. This is a great overall product for anyone sensitive to glycerin (which can aggravate yeast infections), like myself, as well as for anyone who values using natural and organic products in/on their body (especially such sensitive areas as mucous membranes). Plus, it's vegan - all you veg-folk take note - and is not tested on animals. I would recommend this lube to anyone who wants an environmentally and health conscious (yet very effective) lubricant for all-around use.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

When first poured, this lube is somewhat thin and runny (water-based, so watch for drips) but also quite silky, which feels amazing on my clit and inner lips. It is, however, thick enough to make penetration a breeze. It becomes a bit more gummy with prolonged friction, and can be easily 're-animated' with a little spit, water, or even more lube. Overall, the texture is delicious and enhances sensations for quite luscious sensual experience.

Taste / Aroma

This lube is non-scented, and I for one could not detect any odor. The taste is ever so slightly sweet, possibly due to the infusions of aloe, hibiscus, green tea, and rose. Mmmmm...

Performance

A few drops of this lube work well for me. It is effective with just one application, but the delicious silky feeling lessens over time, though as I mentioned, this can be revived with a little spit, water, or more lube. I've heard that water-based lube can get too gummy if you add more instead of reviving with water, but I did not have this experience. Adding more lube works quite well for me when needed, but only in longer sessions was it necessary. On that note, however, if you coat a dildo with this lube and do not use it right away, it dries quickly - so apply right before use. This lube does tend to stick around past its usefulness, especially for women (our natural fluids continually revive the lube), so I prefer a quick rinse afterward, when it comes off easily.

Packaging

Half the reason I bought this lube in the first place was the beautiful bottle label. Geared towards women (but useful for all), the label features a female symbol within a lotus blossom - very tasteful and classy. My favorite part, though, is the brief manifesto on the label that emphasizes its simplicity, health-consciousness, and support of "sexuality, passion & love." It also entreats us to love our bodies and recycle the packaging, both of which are enough to gain my support for a company that seems to truly care.
Follow-up commentary
It's been a while since I've used this lube, but Sliquid organics remain a great favorite! I would like to find something a little longer-lasting, but I can deal with a bit of stickiness when I know that my lube is one of the most earth- and body-friendly on the market.

    • Your best bet to get answers to questions like this is to either ask the Eden staff via support ticket, or contact the manufacturers directly.

  • Too Sticky
    • Ive tried about every lubricant known to man at this point.. I can't find one that I like. They're too sticky, too runny, leaves a residue behind, dries out after too short of a time period. Im frustrated....Anyone have some good suggestions for me? Thanks!
    • I like the sliquid line, as I too have problems with sticky lube and tacky residue from them. I've only tried a few so far, the Sliquid Organics Silk is the best of them for this. The Sliquid Organics Gel only got sticky once on me, when I accidentally added way too much lube (was reviewing a toy that was larger than I am used to).
    • I like the Wet Synergy, the Shunga Toko Aroma, and the Fun Factory Body Fluid. To me, none of these have been sticky, although the Synergy and Body Fluid will probably leave a "residue" because they both have silicone in them. However I've found that wiping with a wipe has removed any of the residue that I was feeling.

    • What would be the shelf life of these?
    • I'm not an expert on lube but I usually toss stuff after one year. If it smells funny or anything you might toss it even sooner.
    • Yea I agree. Most of them dont really say much. But I wouldnt keep them in really hot or humid areas and sounds about right to tosss em out if you see anything different. (scent, color, etc)
