Not so Good Head

Oral enhancer that really didn't enhance. It tasted and smelled good, but was far too sticky for me. Good price to experiment with though.

Use

This is one oral enhancer that didn’t really enhance. We bought Good Head to add a little zing to our oral play and possibly help achieve deep throating. Something I have not been able to accomplish due to a tricky gag reflex. I also thought it would be just plain fun for both of us, add a little sugar and spice to the bedroom. I’d read Good Head helped suppress the gag reflex, but it really didn’t do anything for me. I still wasn’t able to achieve deep throating.

You can use it one of two ways, put a dollop on your tongue and let it roll down your throat, or spread it over your partner and lick it off. We did the spreading over my hubby. I haven’t had a chance to try the swallowing a drop, yet, to help with the gag reflex. I wouldn’t recommend using this as a lube for two reasons. One, it’s very sticky and while it might be fun at first after a bit you would probably wound up stuck to each other. Two, it contains glycerin, sugar, which could possibly lead to a yeast infection. Since in the heat of the moment it's still possible get some inside, I’d suggest cleaning up right after. Just to be safe, especially if you're sensitive to such things.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

The gel has a thick consistency, reminding me of the cake icing gel stuff. As I mentioned, it’s very sticky. I would recommend having a wash cloth or baby wipe handy for quick clean up. Due to the thickness, I had a hard time spreading it over the hubby, but once I got it on it stayed in place and was easy to lick/ suck off. Although if it dries out, it gets very tacky and hard to clean up. We seriously needed a shower after using this to get completely cleaned up. Which makes it not very good for a quick BJ.

Taste / Aroma

Each tube is 1 oz and comes in five flavors: strawberry, passion fruit, cherry, mint, and cinnamon.

Strawberry- Has a very sweet taste and smell. It was actually a bit to sweet for my tastes.

Passion Fruit- Had a less sweet taste and smell than the strawberry and was more.. Well fruity.

Cherry- Had an extremely sweet taste and smell, reminding me of a Ludens cherry cough drop.

Mint- Had a taste like chewing gum and was more of a spearmint in flavor and smell than a peppermint.

Cinnamon- Tasted like a cinnamon candy only without the hotness associated with cinnamon flavor. Although it seemed to have a milder scent than the others.

Performance

Since this product is very sticky which made it hard to apply, I found I needed a couple spirits. It did stay on well once I got it on though. I found it also made my mouth water, which is actually a plus since it helped slide slightly easier. Yet the stickiness made it kind of unpleasant to use my hand in combination with my mouth, like I prefer to do.

Unfortunately after a few minutes of ingestion, all of the flavors made me sick to my stomach, as in nauseous, which completely spoiled the mood. No we didn't use all the flavors at once, I mean each flavor when we tried it made me sick.

The mint flavor had a slight cooling or tingling sensation, according the my hubby. The cinnamon irritated his sensitive bits and had to be washed off really quickly.
The only way to get completely clean was to shower off. With it being so sticky it clumped in hair and had to be washed out. Plus side, it is water based so once in the shower it came off relatively easy, but you stick to everything you touch on the way there. It does come out of fabrics rather well and didn’t stain.

Personal comments

In the end, while the gels tasted and smelled good, I really was not happy with this product. It was supposed to be an oral enhancer, but it was more like a moderate booster, if that. I unfortunately will more than likely not be using these particular products again. Although I have to say, while it didn’t work for me there is nothing saying it won’t work for you or anyone else. My experience was not the best, but there are many good reviews of Good Head so it’s your call. For about three bucks a bottle it’s worth experimenting and that half the fun.

Ugh. I remember this stuff. I got the strawberry and mint in some cheap little kit from another company. They both upset my stomach too. Sad face Trying these lubes out was how I figured out my body hates parabens. I had always wondered why blueberries made me sick. I looked up parabens because of these gels making me sick every time I used them and found out that blueberries naturally have methylparaben in them.

I too experienced the not so "good head" tummy ache... Although I'm sad it upset other peoples tummy, its good to know that I'm not the only one. Hope we can find a better and more oral-licios product to share. Big smile

  • The Worst
    • In honor of my horrible Ex that will not stop finding new ways to contact me I want to know what is the worst technique a person has used on you and how you dealt with it. The Ex in question was horrible at going down on me. He could not find my clit to save his life which was shocking considering I'm always shaved and he had an extreme case of excess saliva.
