Not What I expected
I would not suggest this product because of the scent and the fact that even though it states it is hypoallergenic — it was not in this case.Published: January 4, 2012
Pros:
It is easy to open.
Stays slippery.
Stays slippery.
Cons:
Scent is quite strong.
Cooling sensation eventually becomes a burning sensation.

When shopping for a lubricant, I look for a gel that is not thick and is long lasting without having to use a lot of it. I had never used a warming/cooling lubricant before and did quite a bit of research to find one that a first time user could use. I read the reviews on this lubricant prior to purchasing it and thought this would work. It did not fit in with me at all. It was easy to open in the dark and it was quite wet. The gel to liquid was quite good. I did like the quick way it turned from gel to a smooth liquid.
That is were the good review ends. The scent of the lubricant is quite strong and long lasting. It smells like Ben Gay. It is not lickable and causes the tongue to go numb. The package does not state whether it is for consumption or not.
Even though it states that it is hypoallergenic, the cooling sensation felt more like a burning than a cooling effect after about 5 minutes. Even after washing this stuff off I felt a tingling in my nether region for some time afterwards.
The sensation was not pleasing to my partner either. It did not give the desired effect that was intended. I had expected a gentle cooling feeling as in ice play, but this felt more like I set the ice cube on the area for far too long. Even after washing the gel from the area you could still feel the sensation. It took some time for the sensation to go away.
My boyfriend did not like this product at all and suggested we do not use this again as a couple. I won't be using this product because of the burning sensation that I felt.
I would not recommend this product for anyone, especially for a first time user of warming/cooling lubrication.

What is your favorite lube? Brands, bases, etc?

I use water-based lube almost exclusively, since so many of my toys are silicone. :) I used to really love System JO H2O, and still do, but lately I've been feeling that Sliquid H2O is the best for me. It dries up a bit faster, but JO dries a little bit sticky (dunno if I'm just noticing it more or whatever), while Sliquid doesn't. Plus, Sliquid lubes are very body-safe, while JO has glycerin and a ton of parabens.
Sliquid still can't top JO when it comes to flavored lubes, though. :D -
Mine's Liquid Silk. I've used a couple different brands, and I keep going back to it. I'll buy some Maximus eventually, since Liquid Silk isn't as great for anal play, but I'll probably always have a bottle of Liquid Silk on hand.
I prefer water-based, too, partly because of my silicone toys and partly because silicone lubes are so much harder to clean up. But I am on the hunt for a good silicone lube to use in the shower (I have mastered wrapping most of my toys in condoms to keep them safe.) Heard good things about Pink and Toko, but haven't tried either yet.

Thank you for viewing Wet Synergy cool tingle – water based lube review page!

good review
What are the ingredients in it? Thanks for the review and welcome to EF.
Thanks for the review!
I find that these types of lubes irritate my skin or make me feel uncomfortable, especially when combined (like KY yours and mine). I would suggest maybe going for something like a clitoral tingling or arousal get but just a LITTLE dab. Good review.
