V Water Based Gel - lubricant discontinued by Icon Brands - review by ToyBunny

V Water Based Gel is a lubricant that has a thicker consistency than most other water based lubricants. I would suggest it for anyone who wants a water based lubricant that is less likely to drip and create a mess. Since it is water based it is compatible with condoms and safe for use with many different types of toy textures. It does contain glycerin which has been known to promote infections in women pretty easily. If you know you have a problem with this, I suggest looking for something else.

This lube did have a sticky consistency when I touched it with my hand but it felt very smooth when I used it during sex. The lube is not runny, as it is a gel product, and comes out in a texture that I would describe as a thinner hair gel. I put some on my hand and it stayed put pretty well. It only slid down my hand a tiny bit and stayed put.

This gel lube has no smell at all. I sniffed both inside and out of the bottle and couldn't smell anything.

This product definitely made things smoother but I did notice towards the end of sex I started to feel a little dry. This lube did not hold up as well as others I have used. When I put it on my hand to test it first I had to wash it off with soap and water because it got really sticky. It does not rub into the skin at all. It did come off easily with soap and water. The best part of this product is that it does provide smoothness but I don't think it's the longest lasting on the market.

It comes in a sealed plastic bottle that is soft and squishy to the touch. It's a clear, see-through liquid. The bottle is 5oz and therefore could not be taken with you for air travel.
I would say the bottle is semi-discreet. Although it says LUBRICANT really big on the front, the bottle resembles a hair gel product and I probably wouldn't second guess it if I saw it in a friend's bathroom.
The package has directions and ingredients that are easy to read on the back. It is also labeled as, "dermatologically formulated", "gentle on sensitive skin", "hypoallergenic" and "paraben free".

My partner and I used this for foreplay and sex. I had him put a little on his hands before sex and of course he dripped it all over my sheets! I checked the next day and luckily it didn't leave any stains. It did feel really nice on his hands and helped me get off a lot quicker. We also used it during sex. I personally didn't notice any difference but afterward my guy said he liked it and thought that it felt very smooth. Towards the end of our session I started to feel dry again and therefore I don't think this is the longest lasting water based lube on the market.
