Oiling the Squeaky Back Door Hinge
In making their Back Door Formula, Pjur used high quality silicone ingredients to create a thick lube and then added a couple of ingredients to help relax the anal sphincter. It is not desensitizing but it does seem to decrease the blood flow in the area where it is applied. This seems to work well for back door loving; and since it is silicone based, it is good for use in wet environments but use with silicone toys should probably be avoided.Published: August 26, 2009
Pros:
Thick, rich, water resistant, long lasting, "relaxing".
Cons:
May cause his parts to "relax" as well.

Thank you for viewing Pjur back door – lubricant review page!

Excellent review. And interesting about the relaxing properties. I have Pjur Eros and love it. You should try that as well.
Thanks for the compliment, newme21. After experiencing this product I will definitely have to check out more of Pjur's stuff.
Agreed. Interesting about the desnsitizing effect. I have the eros and love it too!
Yeah, Colossus, it's hard to call it desensitizing per se because it is not numbing, but it definitely seemed to reduce the blood flow in the area.
That's an interesting property. I may have to pick this one up.
Great review as always!
Thanks, Sammi, this lube definitely has some interesting properties.
I haven't used this particular product from pjur, but I do have pjur eros and we use it as an anal lube as well as with toys it's compatible with and love it.
Thanks for the tip AngeldeSanguine. Pjur Eros does come pretty highly recommended. Glad you like it too.
Pjur is so awesome. I just dont know about the desensitizing effect it has (especially if it will affect my mans parts). But I definitely want to give it a try. I'm sure the lube has no effect on the penis if a condom is worn and we always use a condom for anal. What do you think?
I go bareback almost all the time, so I didn't even consider the condom effect. I think this would probably work great in that application. In fact, come to think of it, that is probably how they intended for it to be used. Guess I'm not a very good poster child for safer sex. Oops!
Jimbo, nice review. Perhaps you can answer a question I have after reading it? Why can't you use this jell on silicone butt plugs? Silicone jell + silicone plug = danger? Why?
Thanks, Proudy, and very good question. Pure silicone lube + pure silicone toy can be okay, my guess is that the problem occurs because this has additional (non-silicone) ingredients.
Thanks!
You are welcome, LavenderSkies.
