One hell of a lube!

This lube was recommended by the clerk at my local sex shop. She stated how safe it was to use, and it was their number one seller. I bought it based on her recommendation.

Use

This lube goes anywhere and makes everything soft! It's a beautiful thing we have here. We used it for anal and vaginal sex. The woman in my life also claimed it made her skin smoother! It stays nice and silky for at least an hour, and you only need a few drops to get things moving. It works great with toys and is never sticky.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

This is a thinner lube than, say, a gel, but it doesn't drip all over the place, either. It's easy to pour, and it feels silky smooth. It feels silky, just as the name states, not oily or greasy. When it dries, it's not sticky; it seems to just absorb into the skin and makes your skin smoother to the touch.

Taste / Aroma

I did not taste very good, but I don't eat lube, either. It has no smell that I could detect, and we both liked this because we enjoy each other's smell much more.

Performance

This stuff will last for an hour or more with only a few drops. There is no need for clean up because your body will absorb it. If you do need to clean it up, it's very simple; wipe off or spray off with water. It's one of the more expensive lubes I have bought, but because of the fact a little would go a long way, I was very pleased with my purchase.

This has a little bit of silicone lube in it. Did you try it with any silicone toys?

    • i get the impression that this is crap......
    • Liquid Silk's not a bad lube, but "crap" or "awesome" depends a lot on what you want out of your lube. Like, do you want one for anal play or vaginal? For shower play? Are you a stickler for healthy ingredients?
    • It wasn't bad, but Alan and Michele have a point. What are you trying to get out of the lube?

  • Liquid Silk and Silicone Toys
    • So, while looking through highly rated water based lubes, I came across Liquid Silk. Aside from the bitter taste, no one seems to have any complaints.

      However, I noticed that the fourth ingredient is Dimethicone - and I was wondering what everyone's experience with this and silicone sex toys was? Is the silicone in Liquid Silk a small enough portion that it has no effect on toys, or is it generally not recommended for that type of play?

      Or does the bonding potential of silicone lubes have more to do with the type/quality of silicone than anything else?
    • That's a really good question because Dimethicone is a silicone.

      Basically it should be ok to use as long as the toy is made of medical grade silicone. There should, in theory, be no reaction. I, personally, wouldn't want to test that out on my own toys though. You can do a patch test on a small part of the toy. The reaction should be immediate if there is going to be one.

      Anyone else know about this?
    • I have had liquid silk react to a silicone toy. Which sucks because I love it. :(
