Over and over again...
Overall it is a great lube to use. It is a good value for the money. I recommend it to everyone.Published: November 6, 2008
Pros:
A little water brings it right back to life, like the first time you applied it.
Cons:

All you need is about a 'dime-size' amount of this lube and your good to go. We all know that after a while most lubes 'wear out'. The best thing about ID Glide is this... it's long lasting. Because it is water-based, it comes back to life with just one shot of water. I keep a small squirt bottle with the lube at all times. It can get a little sticky if you use too little at first. Either add a little more or use water to bring it back to being "slick". I have used many different companies in the past trying to find one I liked and had many ways it could be used. This one covers all of the bases.
The 17.6 oz bottle has a very convenient pump which makes it quick to use when needed. It also helps for getting the right amount that you want every time. Whether you need it for toy play, for masturbation, for anal penetration... or just to keep the moisture and comfort level going, this lube is the one you need. It is really easy to wash off of your skin or toys since it is water-based. You really don't even need soap if you just need to wash it off your hands.
I have used ID Glide for years and it has never once let me down. It is not a costly lube either. The bigger bottles give you the best value, and of course they last a lot longer than the little 'travel' size ones. I have told many people about this lube and have heard great feedback from some of those that took my advice. They love it and were glad I had told them about it. Give it a shot... it'll surprise you just how well it works.

I received a sample and want to make sure it's the real thing before writing a review.

I got this sample with a wholesale order:

Is this the one EF is selling in larger bottles, so can I review it? -
It looks the same to me. If you're going to review it, do note that you have a smaller sample size tho.

It got pretty good ratings but it's like the worst thing I ever tried maybe 2/5. So not sure if it's just my personal preference or just plain different. Ingredients looks like the same tho. I read your durex warming review! I like that lube and use it to the day. This is far worse than that in terms of smell and performance. I got a premium silicone lube recently and I can finally understand why people gave 2/5 to the durex warming :) But I like it anyway, it's different. But made me realize what tacky really means and now I got a better picture.

Why is this product not sold in the same types of containers?
-
I am wondering why the different weights are sold in different containers. The 17.5 oz. container looks the best, but costs more. The 4 oz bottle looks weird, and I don't like it. They should be sold in same-looking containers. Any comments? Agreements?

I think it'd be much better if they made them all the same as you suggested. I guess they figure they're just giving people a choice in the way the lube is disposed?

Personally it doesn't bother me what the bottle looks like. Some I am sure are easier to conceal in a pocket or purse for the purpose of travel. Others do to their size like the one I baught being 35 oz. looks like a shampoo bottle and you could probably have out in the open as long as someone didn't take to close a look at it. I am sure they had their reasons for making the bottles the way they did.

Thank you for viewing ID glide – lubricant review page!

This lube does contain glycerin, so be careful with it when using with female-bodied people (glycerin sometimes triggers yeast infections).
Yes...I did overlook that information when I left the review, thank you CW for bringing that up. Please make sure you discuss this with all parties involved...and if anyone is prone to yeast infections more than average, please make sure to clean the area well after sexual contact with the lube. If it's not a concern, then go for it. Glycerin has been thought to bring them on more frequently. Safety and health are always the #1 priority.
Go here to read more about it, or do your own research.
