Use

The best use for this product is open to your imagination and fantasy; I personally enjoy using Pink Water by Empowered Products during masturbation with dildos, gender play with my girlfriend, and during vaginal intercourse. This lube is not thick and perfect in multiple ways for Personal pleasure; This product will not work well in the shower or in water, as it is a water base lube and will wash away almost instantly when coming in contact with water. Arousal during masturbation with vaginal and anal sex toys becomes hassle free, with Pink Water enough friction is present to make for hot and sexy sensual experiences. In addition to personal pleasure there is foreplay, and/or sexual experiences that may need a little extra assistance if you have troubles producing enough natural body lubes. This product will work for all individuals seeking a lube that has a lesser chance of irritating skin, and doesn't cause a sticky aftermath that is a horror to clean up. Any sexual occasion and/or situation is suitable for this product, from vaginal intercourse, to masturbation, and foreplay. I have had my fair share of negative reactions from lubes and have found this to be the one and only water base lube to fully, 110% work for me. I advise you closely look at the ingredients list that I have included in my review and/or can be located on the Product page, as every person has different reactions to different products. Water-based lubes can still cause negative reactions, they can contain glycerin and parabens. I highly recommend this lube to anyone seeking a no worries, no mess, all around great lube.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

Smooth to the touch, thin and silky! This product is not greasy, or sticky in any form whatsoever, no matter what the occasion it stays where it needs to. The lube comes out of the small pump relatively fast, however not to fast as to where you are going to end up with an over abundant amount of lube in your hand. Pink Water is gentle on your skin and all sensitive areas. Pink Water is light and thin and is absorbed by the body, leaving no mess behind.

I compared the texture, consistency, thickness, and viscosity to Purell ( 2 oz ): instant hand sanitizer with aloe. There are similar qualities in both; containing the ingredients aloe, water, and propylene glycol.In addition to ingredients, both have similar thickness and texture and could be describes as thin and runny. After placing a dab of Purell hand sanitizer and Pink Water on the palm of my hand and holding my hand vertically the hand sanitizer instantly began running down my hand while the Pink Water Lube, for the most part, stayed in place. After holding my hand vertically for approximately ten minutes the Pink Water Lube had moved almost the full length of the palm of my hand. Some would consider that to make it runny, while others would state it stays in place relatively well. In my opinion Pink Water lube does not run or drip and maintains in place long enough to be utilized in sexual actions.

Taste / Aroma

Flavor free and unscented makes for a more pleasant sexual experience. When being applied it is gentle, and as your body gets warmer the lube matches your body temperature. There are no other scents to compare the aroma of this product to as it is unscented, as well as no other tastes to compare it to, as it has no taste.

Performance

I currently have the 1.7 oz bottle and it has been at least Six months sense I made my purchase and it is still more then half full. Numerous times I have not had the urge to wash this product off after sexual intercourse, I forgot I had even used lube. It absorbs into the body as if you had never used a lubricant; however, because of the rate at which it is absorbed by the body one may need to reapply every 20-35 minutes during vigorous external play and every 35-45 minutes for hot and heavy sexual intercourse. During solo play one may not need to reapply, but occasionally on your "dry" days every 30-40 minutes. I feel this product is the perfect fit for me, and I believe it would be for you as well. I absolutely love that there is no clean up necessary to remove excess lube off of my skin after use!

Special Features

This product holds some serious attractive and enhancing properties. Silky smooth, enhances and restores moisture to areas that it is applied to by being absorbed by the body, only a small amount is necessary for use (dime sized amount will suffice for most play), and practically no clean up! Incredible!

Personal comments

Caution!!: Although this product ( Pink Water ) is Glycerin free it contains parabens and aspartame. Individuals with Sensitive skin should head my warning.

Still absolutely loving the Pink Water lubricant, last long, reliable, would never replace this with any other water based lubricant! Due to the fact I have had this lube for over six months now and just recently wrote the review I felt it would be completely okay to do a follow up sooner then 2 months after the initial writing of this review.

Water-based lubes can still cause averse reactions since they can contain glycerin and parabens. Careful not to mislead or provide misinformation!

Ladies, proceed with caution!! My husband surprised me with this Pink Water lube and I had a horrible allergic reaction to it. I had no idea it contained the ingredients Aspartame- which is a controversially man-made product that is widely consumed. And also Parabens! Which are linked to premature aging, weight gain, breast cancer, and are also an endocrine disruptor. These types of ingredients are commonplace in everyday products, but are extremely harmful to our health. Do your research, be a conscious consumer and don't ignore your health!! Consider organic options.

    • System JO seems to work pretty good for water based lubes, Better Sex essentials is the best I have tried when it comes to Silicone based.
    • I love pink silicone. The stuff lasts forever, but if we're talking water-based, so far I've been liking Blossom Organics (which I think is only sold on their website), but I don't have tons of experience with the water-based stuff.

      I actually like pink water's packaging...

      In general no I wouldn't be turned off a highly rated lube if I didn't like its packaging. I'm not buying it for what it looks like, I'm buying it for how it works.
