Pink Water
This lubricant is a decent water based lube, nice and gentle. So far this is my preferred water based lubricantPublished: March 11, 2010
Pros:
Gentle, unscented, unflavored.
Cons:
Tacky after a while.
First thing that drew my attention towards this lubricant was the attractive packaging. First time using this I found it to be a nice slick lube that I didn't need to reapply as often as I have had to with others. It didn't get tacky for a while, it stayed slick and wet. The lube did get tacky; however, it went back to being slick when I applied more.
It's unscented, unflavored and colorless. This brand doesn't make flavored lubes to my knowledge. It's water-based so it is safe to use with all toys, silicone toys included. It also is safe to use in bed as it will not stain your sheets. I would recommend this for people with sensitivities because I haven't had any issues with this. As far as lubricants go, I found this to be pretty gentle on both me and my toys. I'd also recommend this to any one looking for a glycerin free lubricant as this one is.
I found this to be a good basic water based lube, aside from the fact that it did get tacky. I actually really do like this lubricant. This company also makes a silicone lube that I have also reviewed and personally it is so far my favorite silicone lubricant that I have tried, also in very attractive and discrete packaging. A little goes a long way with this, you will need to apply but it's best to start off with a little and work your way up. The packaging is a convenient pump bottle which does make it easy to dispense a little at a time and add more as needed. This lubricant is also not as thin as I was expecting. It's a perfect balance between thin and thick; it isn't too thick and it isn't thin and watery.

Pink Water is still a great lube. I've found others that I prefer more but Pink is still a decent, thin water based lube!

I love the Pink silicone, so I'm surprised to hear the water-based is no good.

Length?

Which lube do you find lasts the longest without getting gross?

System JO seems to work pretty good for water based lubes, Better Sex essentials is the best I have tried when it comes to Silicone based.

I love pink silicone. The stuff lasts forever, but if we're talking water-based, so far I've been liking Blossom Organics (which I think is only sold on their website), but I don't have tons of experience with the water-based stuff.

how much does packaging influence your purchase? for me, the gawdy and tacky packaging is a total turn off- even if it has high ratings! should you really judge a lube by its cover?

I agree, I tend to be turned off by ridiculous packaging. I like things to be nicely designed and I am definitely more inclined to purchase those sorts of things.

In general no I wouldn't be turned off a highly rated lube if I didn't like its packaging. I'm not buying it for what it looks like, I'm buying it for how it works.
