Pjur Ecstasy

Pjur Original Bodyglide is the best lube I’ve ever used. It’s not like natural lube; it’s better. It’s the kind of lubrication my vagina factory wishes it could produce. It feels silky smooth, never dries out, leaves my skin velvety soft, and cleans up easily.

Pros:
never dries out, doesn't leave greasy residue on skin, doesn't leave stains that can't be washed out
Cons:
not compatible with silicone toys, expensive

extremely useful review
Pjur Bodyglide is by far the best silicone lubricant I’ve ever used, and I’m extremely anal (no pun intended) when it comes to lubes. Here’s exactly what I expect from a lube:

- Doesn’t get sticky or dry out.
- Doesn’t make my vagina feel sloppy wet nasty.
- Doesn’t leave greasy residue on skin, & is easy to clean.
- Doesn’t stain sheets.
- Doesn’t smell bad or taste weird.
- Moonlights as a massage oil.
- Makes anal & vaginal intercourse more comfortable/enjoyable for my partner & I.
- Keeps things slick under water.

There will always be a place in my nightstand for a bottle of Pjur Original Bodyglide. It is the only lubricant I’ve ever used that met all of my expectations. My boyfriend loves how awesomely fluid hand jobs (from me & while masturbating) are while using this product. I love how a few drops turn my boyfriend’s fingers and penis into slippery silk providers of pleasure.

Besides having all of the aforementioned qualities, it also sets itself apart from other silicone lubes:

vs Pink- While Pink Silicone Lubricant for Women is my second favorite, it leaves my skin feeling greasy. Pjur leaves my skin feeling velvety smooth, not oily at all.

vs KY Intrigue- Intrigue works very well for feeling all the sensations vaginal sex has to offer, but I didn’t find it to be slippery enough for comfortable anal play.

vs ID Millenium- It was difficult to wash ID Millennium off my skin. I felt oily even after showering. What’s better about Pjur is I don’t really feel the need do anything other than wipe it off with a towel. My skin just feels hydrated afterward. I don’t feel “wet down there” if I don’t shower immediately after using it, and it doesn’t stain my underpants either.

My only gripe with using silicone lubes is they can leave stains. You only need to use a few drops, so staining sheets probably won’t be an issue. After intercourse I saw no visible spots or residue left on the linens. If you’re worried about silicone lubes leaving a stain on your 300 count sheets, I recommend putting down a towel, blanket, or liberator throw over your bed before you begin to play. If you do accidentally spill some Pjur, simply treat the spot with any stain-lifting product. I tested out the stubbornness of stains caused by Pjur by putting two drops onto an old white pillowcase. It only left a light ring, one or two shades darker than the rest of the pillowcase. Had I not been looking for it, I probably wouldn’t have even noticed. I sprayed the stain with Shout, and then washed my pillowcase in cold water. The stain came out perfectly.

I also like that Pjur Bodyglide is it made without testing on animals. It’s also hypoallergenic, and 100% safe to use with latex condoms. Plus, it’s made in Germany. “You know the Germans always make good stuff!”

Great review - really liking the list of reasons you prefer Pjur and the comparisons you did were helpful. Your vag factory line made me laugh. Winking

Good to know this doesn't stain the sheets! I've never tried a silicone lube before - this sounds like a good one to start with.

Great review!

That's really cool, that you can just wipe it off. Definitely a BIG plus. I must try this!

Thanks for the review! This is one of my favorite lubes. I just wanted to point out, so you don't miss out on the fun, that this lube actually is safe to use with silicone toys from Tantus, because they're both such high-quality silicone!

Thanks for the note about getting it out of sheets; while a drop or two isn't an issue, knocking over the bottle is a nightmare...

I love the vagina factory comment. Good review. Have you used Wet Platinum? I -think- it's supposed to be the same thing.

Thanks Adriana! I actually just bought a bottle of Wet Platinum by accident a few days ago at the grocery store (I was in a hurry & thought it was water based). I haven't tried it out yet, but I'll be sure to mention how it measures up against Pjur in my follow up review!

  • As a male, what are your favorite penis rings?
    • I am looking to surprise my guy with a penis ring, and have sifted through many products and countless reviews, and I have not really been able to narrow anything down, because of all the great reviews. So as a girlfriend, buying her boyfriend his first penis ring, what would some of the male users, (or female if you are very into your man's penis ring) suggest?
    • I like this one link and use it often, the silicone is a bit more forgiving if you didn't get the size quite right.
Don't go with a flimsy one, more stretch is NOT necessarily better.
Thinner o-ring style like this link may not be as comfortable for your BF to wear for a long sex session.
I also use a wide metal cock ring link and like it very much but you really have to get the size right or he won't be able to get it on or worse he may have to go to the ER to get it off.
    • RonLee has given good suggestions - but there are some metal ones that are nice but not so expensive.

      Happy hunting!

My caution is go silicone first - metal is cock-ring 202 - you need to complete the 101 class first! The 2" metal is most common - but make sure you measure him first!
