Gun Oil is a fantastic silicone lube that we use in the house for all sorts of fun things. It is often leading the way with vaginal sex, anal sex, and even fisting. (Yea, we went there.) I prefer this lube when toys aren't being used. I won't use it because I don't want to risk the silicone degrading my toys.

It holds up really well, and it doesn't irritate my terribly sensitive skin. That being said, certain ingredients may be allergens for some, so always spot test before use. My boyfriend finds that this stings on him but only if he has just recently shaved.

Gun Oil is slick on the hand, much like a thin oil, but it doesn't leave a specifically oily residue. It's more like a massage oil then a cooking oil, I guess. It's fairly thin when in a puddle, but once it put it somewhere it stays nicely.

I haven't tried to pour it because the bottle came with an awesome pump top.

It does leave a slick residue that has to be washed off. I don't really mind because it works so damn well for us.

Gun Oil has not noticeable taste or aroma to me. It's our invisible friend. I hate flavored lubes, so this one is perfect for me.

Ok, there are some pros and cons to Gun Oil. I always found that with this product that the pros out weigh the cons hands down.

The Good:
Ok, so my tastes are considered a little extreme compared to most. I am into BDSM and all sorts of fun things that aren't at the top of everyone's sexual wishlist. We rarely need lube for vaginal sex, but the few times that we have; Gun Oil has held up really well. We have anal sex pretty regularly, and I am a wuss about it, so a good silicone lube is important to me. This is the best one that I have found. And yea, during the times we do fisting, this lube has been a life saver. Plus, even in that situation where a lot of lube is important, we barely made a dent in the bottle which is amazing.

The Bad:
My man finds that it stings when he is freshly shaved on him, but not enough to be a huge issue.

The Ugly:
There is no way to get this off without washing. I try to get it off with wipes, but it never seems to do the trick. A shower is mandatory for getting everything off.

We are suckers for neat packaging and witty product names which is why we got this in the first place. It fit his obsession with zombie apocalypse preparedness, so it had to happen even if it wasn't going to work for us. What i love about the packaging other than the hilarity is that it comes with a pump top. It's sooooo convenient to just pump what you need rather then trying to squeeze out the right amount.

Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract

Also, this is a silicone lube, so avoid using this with materials like silicone. It can degrade them.
