Sliquid sea - water based lube by Sliquid, LLC - review by Eva Schwaltz

Sliquid Sea is a great choice for those looking for a multipurpose lube. It is thick enough for anal use, but also feels nice vaginally. It is water based, so it is fine to use with any toy materials and condoms.

Ingredients: Water, plant cellulose, Carrageenan, Nori & Wakame (Sea Weed Extracts), Cyamposis (Guar conditioners), potassium sorbate, and citric acid.

It contains no glycerine or parabens, so you shouldn’t get any irritation from it. As always, do a spot check on your wrist just to be sure.

With a name like “Sea’ I was expecting this to be very watery but it is fairly thick. It’s not the thickest lube I’ve used, but it’s not runny at all. A drop of this lube on my arm will not drip. In fact, the staying power is very good. It dried up on my skin leaving behind no residue.

This would be a great choice to use with toys that have a lot of drag, such as silicone and TPR materials. It has a wonderful smooth and slick texture that I look for in a good lube.

There is no smell, but it has a light, creamy taste. It’s not exactly pleasant, so oral sex is out of the question when this lube is used.

I’ve never had to reapply this lube because it is very slick. This is a very light lube, but you still get all the benefits of a thicker lube. For a water based lube, it lasts for as long as I need it to. It allows my vagina to stay well moisturized, making thrusting completely frictionless. For me, that’s a good thing. Anally, it allows me to glide things in easily without the lube falling out of place. This is a wonderful lube that works wonders.

This comes in a 4.2 ounce bottle. To dispense the lube, just press down on the lid and it will open on the other side. This method is pretty difficult to control the amount of lube you get, but the lube itself is not watery enough to drip everywhere. The bottle is fairly discreet unless someone examines it closely. It won’t stick out on a nightstand or dresser, and it is small enough to tuck away and travel with. The bottle is nice and sturdy, and no lube has leaked from it.
