Rub me in, leave me on, and smell me all day long.

This is simply the best massage oil that I've ever owned! It's non greasy, absorbs into the skin, and it smells great. It's completely multi-purpose and can be used for so many different things. At only six dollars a bottle, there's no reason that you shouldn't already be using this stuff!

Use

Sensuous is a completely multi-purpose oil. It can be used with your partner or it can be used solo.

Massage - Its main purpose, and best use, is as a massage oil. It's a must-have for long, sensual, and silky massages.

Moisturizer - It's great for rubbing on your skin after a bath or shower. It moisturizes your skin and leaves a light lingering scent that lasts all day.

Make-up remover - It works great for removing waterproof eye make-up because it's light and full of natural ingredients.

Bath oil - If you put a small amount of oil under warm running water, it will make your bath silky and give it a wonderful, relaxing scent.

Lube - Although we have not tried it, I've read that the natural ingredients make it possible to use as a vaginal or anal lube.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

Sensuous is exactly that. It feels luxurious against the skin, and it's not greasy or sticky. Consistency wise, it's about halfway between thick and thin. When rubbed between the fingers, it really feels like any other massage oil; when rubbed onto the skin or the back, it feels thin and smooth.

Taste / Aroma

The smell is really the best thing about this massage oil. It's a mix between a sweet almond and a luxurious vanilla. Unlike some other massage oils that have either a fruity or flowery scent, Sensuous is completely unisex and can be enjoyed by anyone.

Sensuous is not meant to be eaten in any way, although, because of the natural ingredients, it won't be harmful if you do happen to accidentally ingest some. The taste isn't bad enough to make you gag or anything like that, but it doesn't necessarily taste good either. It's very oily and the texture felt weird in my mouth when I tasted it.

Unlike me, my mom has a very sensitive nose and certain products are very irritating and too strong for her. I got her to smell the bottle of Sensuous and she loved it. She said it didn't bother her nose and it was light enough that it didn't give her a headache.

Performance

It works great for massages. It rubs in really nice and feels so smooth. We have never had to reapply Sensuous. Seriously... Never! Our usual massages last about a half an hour, and even though it gets a bit thin near the end, it works just as well. There's really no need to wash it off afterwards, but if you must, simply rinse it off with some soap and water. Once fully rubbed into the skin, the sweet scent will linger for hours.

If you're using it as a moisturizer, make sure to rub it in really well. You might have to wait a few minutes for it to fully saturate before putting on clothes.

Packaging

Sensuous comes in a simple clear plastic bottle with a flip top cap. It has a pretty purple label that lists all the ingredients and states that it's not tested on animals. It only comes in one size, which is 4.5 fl oz. (135ml).

The bottle is good for travel, but you will have to make sure to wipe it down after use.

The ingredients listed are as follows:

Sweet Almond Oil, Safflower Oil, Sesame Seed Oil, Isopropyl Myristate, Avocado Oil, Myristate Propionate, Jojoba Oil, Macadamia Nut Oil, Kukui Nut Oil, Actiphyte of Rose Hip, Ginseng, Hawaiian White Ginger, Juniper Berry, Passion Flower, Evening Primrose, Jasmine, Sunflower Petals, Rosemary, Lavender, Fragrance, and Pheromones.

Experience

I LOVE this stuff! At only six dollars a bottle, I bought two more after making it halfway down the first. A little goes a long way, so one bottle will last you a long time.

It doesn't stain the sheets and washes right out. I actually spilled a bit on my duvet while writing this review, and now I can't even see where I spilled it.

For me, as a moisturizer, it works best on my elbows and knees. They tend to always be dry and hard, but Sensuous smooths them right out.

I have recommended this to everyone I know, and I recommend it for you too!

  • Sensuous oil - Pheromones?
    • I notice that an ingredient in this is "Pheromones". I notice that this has a lot of great reviews, so I've been planning to get a bottle soon. Now I am curious about this. I am not interested in products that say they have pheromones in them, I think the idea of products with pheromones in them is silly. I have not ruled out getting this, but is it a vegan product? Just what sort of pheromones are in this stuff?

  • Sensuous – oil
    • Can you use this for penetration?
    • I think it is only meant for massage...

Sure, but some lady bits do not do well with it. It may cause an UTI or irritation. We use for massage mostly but some always gets on/around/in the wife's bits with no issue.

Most of the time the natural oils will be fine, it's the petroleum based oils that don't do well.
