Use

Lelo is one of my favorite companies now. They have such beautiful, quality products that I love. When it comes to the new Lelo Personal Moisturizer... it is King of water-based moisturizers. It is a gentle lubricant that is universal and can be used for all purposes such as; sex, masturbation, with sex toys, etc. The most important use of this product is to use it as a personal moisturizer. It adds wetness to dry genital areas and offers a friction-free surface. It is also ideal for those who suffer from allergies and are sensitive to materials.

Lelo's Personal Moisturizer is free of Glycerin and Parabens. It is infused with Aloe Vera to enhance the enjoyment and comfort of activities.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

Lelo's Personal Moisturizer feels a bit gel-like but not extreme enough to be gooey. It is not greasy or sticky. It is a slick moisturizer that gently soothes the genital area. Because it is water-based, it is not as long lasting say a silicone lubricant. The idea is to moisten the play area prior to sex, masturbation, toy play, etc. It is very easy to dispense. It has a pump dispenses that release about a 1/4 teaspoon each time. You can use one or three or four. It's up to the user. I usually just use a pump or two and apply it to my genital area just to add some moisture and then start my session. I believe it works very well for its purpose, and if not mistaken for a lubricant, others will enjoy it as well and admire its properties.

If I had to compare this product to a lubricant, I would say it is close to the texture of the simple water-based Astroglide. It is very clean, thin, and slick.

Taste / Aroma

Lelo's Personal Moisturizer is fragrance and taste free. It is a sensitive formula and doesn't have the added sugars or chemicals required for fragrance and edibleness.

Performance

I love this product so much because it not only gives me some wetness, it also makes my skin super soft and in better shape for the next session. It has properties very close to a lotion product, but also has the slick feeling of a lubricant. If using this product as a lubricant, rather than just a moisturizer, it may need applied a few extra times. It is well worth it, especially if you are sensitive to other products.

When I used the personal moisturizer and applied it to my genital area whilst still dry. I then began playing with my sex toys. After about twenty minutes I did use another application to keep things really slick. I applied it directly to myself rather than the toy. It only took two pumps of the moisturizer to get me through and I ended up creating enough of my own juices that I didn't need any more. It worked really well for me and kept my genital area soft, smooth, and slick. I really enjoyed using a product that was free of harsh chemicals, stickiness, and flakes. Yes! I forgot to mention that! It does not flake. It doesn't even need washed off. It works very similar to a lotion and absorbs right into the skin.

This personal moisturizer does not work very well in the tub or shower.

Packaging

The most beautiful aspect of the entire product. Lelo did a great job in providing a luxury package made of glass. Ya! No plastic! I really love the bottle. It is a sleek black container that simple reads "Personal Moisturizer." It looks like a fancy bottle of lotion. No one will suspect what it is. It also have a black ring cap that covers the dispenser so that it does not leak. Props! The bottle has a nice silver dispenser that gives out about a 1/4 teaspoon with each pump. It delivers controlled dispensing that is mess free. The bottle can also be reused which is a nice plus.
