Should be called Liquid Ecstasy!

Liquid Silk is a quality lube that is long lasting and has a variety of sexual applications from toy play to sex. This water-based product has a natural feel that gives it's competitors a run for their money.

Use

This product has an amazing natural and non-tacky feel. We have not come across lube like it. Whether to aid in male/female penetration, masturbation sleeve for the guys or that perfect dildo for the ladies; this is your lube!

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

Liquid Silk has a thick creamy consistent texture that's comparable to the natural lubrication a woman produces during sex. The best thing about it is the non-tacky feel, which seems to come with most other water based lubes. A nice feature of this product is that it has a pump dispenser. If you have ever tried to pick up other brands "squeeze bottles" with lube on your hands, it can make for a difficult time. With the pump dispenser of Liquid Silk that problem is non existent!

Taste / Aroma

Liquid Silk has a very neutral smell which is great, but the taste is another story. It doesn't have a very pleasant taste, but is bearable. I recommend that if you are planning on doing oral after using this product to find something designed specifically with taste and scent in mind.

Performance

It lasts extremely long with only one pump per session for us. We've had our bottle for months and it's just about time to be investing in a new bottle! After a session it washes off easily with regular soap and water without any scents or residue left on your hands. Other lubes tend to lose their lubrication during sexual play and you need to stop what you're doing and reapply, but not with Liquid Silk. It keeps you wet and ready to go for more!

Welcome! Only one pump per session? As well as only one pump per male masturbation? That sounds inviting.

@Kuuipogal: I wish I knew! I just use it! Tongue out

@2BudZ: Only one pump per session yes. It mixes well with natural bodily lubricants which means it doesn't require much Liquid Silk.

In regards to only one pump per male masturbation, that probably will depend on your size. Unfortunately I am on the low end of the size food chain. Tongue out

How compatible is it with toys? How easy does it wash off?

@ Saraid: Personally I've only used it with plastic, rubber and jelly toys. With those toys it works great and cleans up very easily with toy cleaner or soap and warm water.

  • Liquid Silk and Silicone Toys
    • So, while looking through highly rated water based lubes, I came across Liquid Silk. Aside from the bitter taste, no one seems to have any complaints.

However, I noticed that the fourth ingredient is Dimethicone - and I was wondering what everyone's experience with this and silicone sex toys was? Is the silicone in Liquid Silk a small enough portion that it has no effect on toys, or is it generally not recommended for that type of play?

Or does the bonding potential of silicone lubes have more to do with the type/quality of silicone than anything else?
    • That's a really good question because Dimethicone is a silicone.

Basically it should be ok to use as long as the toy is made of medical grade silicone. There should, in theory, be no reaction. I, personally, wouldn't want to test that out on my own toys though. You can do a patch test on a small part of the toy. The reaction should be immediate if there is going to be one.

      Anyone else know about this?
    • I have had liquid silk react to a silicone toy. Which sucks because I love it. :(
