Wet Synergy - lubricant by Wet Lubricants - review by Eva Schwaltz

Wet Synergy is a hybrid lubricant, which is a blend of water and silicone, making it last longer than most traditional water based lubes. You can use it for vaginal and anal sex, and it’s safe with condoms and most toy materials, but I wouldn’t use this on silicone toys as it contains a lot of silicone.

Ingredients: Glycerin, deionized water, dimethiconol, sodium polyacrylate, dimethicone, cyclopentasiloxane, trideceth-6, PEG/PPG, dimethicone, and pentylene glycol.

Glycerin is the first ingredient, so if you easily get yeast infections, this isn’t the lube for you.

The texture is slick and silky like other silicone lubricants, but it is thick like a good water based lube. You really get the best of both worlds with a hybrid lube.

When rubbed on my skin, I notice the dry slickness of the silicone, but since it is thicker, it stays in place until you spread it around. I always hated how silicone lube just goes everywhere but this doesn’t do that. It absorbs in the skin without becoming sticky or tacky, but you can also use a wipe or wash it off if you don’t like the slick feeling of silicone.

The smell and taste aren’t very good, but if you want a lube that lasts and lasts, that shouldn’t matter too much. It has a soapy taste, so avoid ingesting this. It smells a lot like that glue people use to wear fake nails.

This lube is formulated to last three times longer than water based lubes, and that it certainly does. I would say even up to five times longer. A little bit of this lube goes a long way, and you shouldn’t have to reapply. I got the 1.9 ounce bottle and I barely made a dent in it. Be careful about using this with silicone toys because I used this on my G4 Patchy Paul and it got a little sticky. It is easy to wash off, as long as you use a bit of soap.

I got the smaller 1.9 ounce bottle, but you can also get it in 7 ounces. All the information is already on the bottle, so no extra packaging is needed. You could leave it out, but if someone picks it up, they will know what it is meant for.
