Wonderland pure silicone lubricant - lubricant discontinued by Doc Johnson - review by DomonCoshu

Today we have Pure Silicone, a personal lubricant from the Wonderland collection by Doc Johnson. This lubricant can be used for all non-silicone products, as it will tear down anything silicone based. Unfortunately, you will not be able to use this with the actual Wonderland collection, because all of the toys are also silicone. Don't be sad on that note, because Doc Johnson did make a few more different lubes with this collection.

I believe this can be used a variety of ways, from solo masturbation to playing with your favorite toys, or those sessions in the shower with your partner. I just want to add that when I say shower, this lube doesn't come off easily with just water, so it will still be slippery if it gets wet. One great thing about this lube to me is the ingredient list that will be given a little later, but what I love is the short amount of ingredients. The list isn't long or scary like a lot of water based lubes or lubes that are made with flavor. That also brings me to another point that makes this lube great: since it isn't flavored it is glycerin free and also paraben free. I haven't completely gone and looked all the ingredients up yet, but I plan on it, and I do believe that this lube also doesn't contain anything most people would be allergic to. The only thing I see as of now is if you were just completely allergic to silicone. For me, I believe this lube is for all.

There is so much good, I believe, that this lubricant has to offer. To me this is one of the best lubricants I have used, although it is the first silicone lube, which could be why it is so great. The container is cute, but the twist isn't for me. I would prefer a flip top that secures and isn't out to where everything such as bacteria can sit on top of the hole. You also have to make sure the twist top is completely closed, because it will leak. I learned from experience. To take the picture so I could show how fast the lubricant runs, and I thought I had closed the top. When I went to pick the lubricant back up, there was a puddle of lube on my counter top. So make sure that the top is completely closed; otherwise there will be a mess to clean up.

That didn't discourage me, though, and isn't deterring me from enjoying this lube and giving it a good rating. Another characteristic that I enjoyed was the feel. This lubricant is very smooth, slick, and I love the velvety feeling. Even after washing my hands, I like the feeling; they feel so smooth. One dislike, but not necessarily a problem, was when water hits the lube it can turn kinda oily, but not so much a problem, since to me it doesn't have the oily feel. To me it just begins to look oily, but still retains its smooth feel. The picture below is after a minute and was about a quarter size of lube. It did not drop from my hand, but ran down slowly.



It is very easy to pour, as I'm sure almost any liquid in a squeeze container would be. When you open the container fully, the lube will come out on its on. It won't pour out fast, but drip out slowly. So I do think you should be careful when squeezing the bottle, as you might get a little more then you want because, in the case with this lube, a little goes along ways. One thing I did forget to mention was when closing and opening the tube, there is a clicking noise that happens when the tube is open and when the tube is closed. I didn't notice it in the beginning, but later on when I was playing with the tube just to figure more out.

This will be a somewhat short section, only because there isn't to much to say. There isn't any smell to this lubricant; I tried for a few minutes trying to smell it a few times. I just wanted to be completely positive, but there is no smell to the lubricant.

Another thing is that this lube isn't for taste. So I didn't try, and I don't want, to taste it. I would be sure though, since there is no flavor, that silicone probably doesn't taste too flavorful. I will leave it up to someone else to taste. To me, it's just not my thing to try anything that isn't advertised as edible.

Know for this section I can only give minimal times, as my wife and I don't really go for those all day sessions, but this lube will last around 30 minutes. Also, we just wouldn't really need any more, since my wife can get very wet. I think for the normal session of sex this lubricant might only have to be applied maybe once more after 30 minutes or so. The lubricant is great, though: it is very slick, and I think it might even react with bodily fluids to become even more slick. I say this because I spoke previously about when water touches the lubricant it becomes even more slick. So I would even go to say that bodily fluids would most likely react in the same way.

We really enjoyed this product, as it does what it is supposed to do. Not really too much bad I could say, except for just make sure you hear the click when closing the top. The product is easy to clean up, but will take more then just water. You will need a rag, soap, and water to clean this off. I had also mentioned after this is cleaned it will still leave your hands a little smooth, which is another thing I did like.

I just wanted to say again that this lubricant isn't compatible with silicone toys, as it will break down the toys over time. From what I have read, there aren't any ingredients that would cause any allergies, unless you are allergic to silicone in general.

The packaging is somewhat discreet from a distance; I'm sure most people would just think you're holding a lotion, but up close, if they can read the container, they are going to know you're holding a lubricant. There are no instructions, but it is a lube, so I don't think there needs to be any. It also doesn't come in a box or anything; it just comes like it is. It would be suitable and easy to carry in a purse, but just reiterating to make sure it is closed. If not, everything in your purse might be lubed up at the end of the day. One last great thing is this lubricant is made in the U.S.

Really enjoyed this lubricant; very easy to use. Nice looking package, love how slippery this lube is and how you don't have to apply so much to gain a good slickness. Highly recommend, not sure of the price, but hopefully it won't be too expensive.
