We finally broke down and decided to buy some of this delightful product after reading some of the reviews posted here and we have not been disappointed. Despite having a very humorous container with tongue-in-cheek labeling this is a very serious lube that stays slick and is great for both anal play and jack off fun.
Water-based lubes have excellent product compatibility but we've yet to find one that lasts long enough and doesn't require constant re-applications. Who wants to fumble around for the lube in the middle of frolicking?!? Silicone based lubes will destroy our toy collection and oil based lubes destroy latex condoms, can leave quite a mess on our sheets, and usually have a difficult cleanup! Boy Butter is a different concoction in that it has both oil and silicone based ingredients and it's lasting power is awesome. We've used it with several of our silicone toys and haven't had any problems with the toys deteriorating whatsoever. Boy Butter cleans up with water only, leaves our skin soft, and has not stained any of our fabrics. We opted for the big tub (about the size of a margarine container, careful you don't spread it on your toast!)and it should provide us with slippery fun for a long time.
Any men out there that buy this for epic masturbation sessions will probably end up with arms like the picture on the container. It definitely makes handjobs easier and much more enjoyable for both the giver and the receiver. My husband can't seem to leave himself alone!

Experience
We've used this lubricant for a few different functions so far with nothing negative to say. It works nicely as a massage cream, my husband gave me a delightful back rub with this stuff and it rinsed off great in the shower giving me no stickiness or breakouts. I've used it for giving him handjobs and I know he's used it for his own private jerkoff sessions because the container seems to be emptying faster than it should! Both of us have used it during anal play and haven't had any problems with it. One application is all that's needed and it lasts and lasts and lasts just like the famous bunny. Safe for silicone?

My partner often experiences pain and discomfort during pegging when we use water based lubricants. He loves silicone lubes but they are not compatible with most of the cocks I use on him for anal. We've gotten in the habit of using natural oils for play, and they seem to be working best.
So that brings me to Boy Butter: has anyone here had any problems using it with silicone? I'm looking to invest in some but I'm not sure if it'll be compatible.

Based on Dwtim's Lube Compatibility Workshop, oil based lube should be fine with silicone. However, looking at Boy Butter, it contains phenyl trimethicone which I assume is a type of silicone. This may cause a reaction.

I'm glad you tested this out on silicone- I've been afraid to! I got the 'I can't believe it's not boy butter' version (completely water-based), and like that also.
This stuff sounds fantastic! I've never used an oil-based lube because of my fear of it degrading my toys - but I think I shall have to give it a go (especially with the coconut oil for my skin).

It is great for shower fun and the container is different for application as well since it isn't a squeeze bottle or a pump. Just grab as much as you want and go.
