ID glide - lubricant discontinued by I-D Lubricants - review by AAAToyGirl

This is a fantastic yet cheap water based lube. It is very slippery, and I don't ever find myself having to reapply it. I bought a huge bottle of this to use for cam shows, for sex, and for use with my toys. I believe that my Maximus and Liquid Silk are both better quality lubes, but I don't want to waste them every time I do a cam show; I love having my ID Glide around. ID Glide is great until you get to the ingredient list; it has glycerin and parabens. The ingredient list is quite a nightmare, but I have to say that if I didn't know those ingredients were there I would not be able to tell. Long ago, this was my first huge lube purchase. I bought the 17.5 oz bottle, and I am half way through that bottle. So, doing five to ten cam shows, up to five days a week, and using it for sex and with my toys, it has lasted well. I've never tasted this lube, so I don't know anything on this aspect of the lube. The only thing I don't like this lube for is anal. It's alright, but there are so many other lubes that perform better for this.

This lube feels nice and slick. The texture reminds me of aloe vera gel. It's medium on the thickness level, and when I move it around on my hand it gets a little thinner and slicker. It stays in place nicely, and I don't find that I have to reapply it often. It feels nice and cooling in a way to me. I don't ever find it getting sticky and it wipes off easily. I got the 17.5 oz bottle, and this size comes with a nice pump. I love the pump. I have found that it keeps the container from getting too sticky over time.

I haven't tasted this lube, but I don't make a habit of tasting my lubes. My friend tasted it, and she said it doesn't have a noticeable taste. It doesn't really have a smell to it, which I consider to be a huge plus.

With constant use, my bottle is still around half full. I've used it for sex, masturbation and cam shows. In those cam shows, up to three people end up using this lube. None of us have found that we need to reapply often. None of us have had bad reactions to the lube either. I find that one pump lasts me as long as I need it to. If wipes off easily, and it washes off of toys easily. I like that it works for everyone I need to use it with; this is always a plus. It's not my favorite, but it's pretty hard to top Maximus. It does hold its own, and that says alot for this lube. I think that if they made a version with a better ingredient list, this would be a much more popular lube, because it performs like a champ.
