This is truly a premium lubricant. Silicone is proven safe and this brand is free of all those icky chemicals that makes the junk in your trunk turn into the funk in your trunk. It is the BEST for water play and has made a steamy shower sex romp a real option. Now I just need a double shower head! Hot water was no match for this slippery goo. It lasted for a good twenty minutes in the bath (solo) and could probably go longer if there were no bubbles involved.

I only have one issue with JO, and that is it can't be used with my absolute fave sex toy, Randy, a big, thick 2" plus diameter dildo. He is silicone and I have to use a water-based lube or lose my little friend forever. Luckily for me there are plenty of good water-base lubes out there. I am of the opinion that one should have the proper lube for the occasion, so since JO is so very slick I would consider it my go-to product and save the water-based for those quiet Randy moments. Nothing water-based lasts as long as this and it is just a compromise to my silicone lover-boy that I would even use anything other than JO.

One thing that I am fond about the snap-up cap is the quiet manner in which it can be opened. I am a fan of stealth masturbating (like when I'm in bed and I don't know if my husband is asleep or not and I want to go solo for selfish reasons) I just slip the bottle from under my pillow, sneak it open and have my way with myself (no Randy of course!) and he's none the wiser. Actually, he probably just pretends he doesn't know - but that is part of the game :)

JO is a bit thin and drippy- not a gel at all, but that is because the silicone is so unlike most water-based gel lubricants. I like the fact that I don't need a quarter-sized glob, and the small amount makes it easy to warm up quick. Nothing like a cold slime ball on the hoo-ha to change the mood. This stuff, while it drips out of the bottle, stays where you put it once applied. The small amount needed ensures that you won't have 'lube creep' down onto the sheets or anywhere else you didn't put it. JO, like most silicone lubes, has a satiny almost unrealistically smoooooooth feel. The closest I can come to describing it would be velvety. It is decidedly not sticky, nor is it greasy. It just reduces the friction to such a degree that whatever you put it on is like a well-oiled machine. Purrs like a kitten.

JO is mostly tasteless. There is a small hint of something that could be called sweetness, but it isn't a "sweet" lube. It just isn't bitter, sour or chemical flavored like so many others. There is no smell to speak of which is a huge plus for us natural girls who only like unscented deodorant and soap. It lets your beautiful true aroma come through. My husband cannot stand the smell of "girly" perfume, shampoos, etc. and I only use lube that won't distract him in a bad way. On our first hookup many years ago he actually said "you're kinda stinky - I like it!" because I wasn't wearing deodorant. If he will say OK to this stuff, then it has to be pretty mild.

It does take a good lathering to wash JO off when you're done, but that is a small price to pay for such a high quality glide. It is great for anal; where oils and such wear off, this just keeps on sliding. I hate the sticky feeling of most water-based that happens about 10 minutes into the action; not so with this stuff. I don't mind the distraction when I'm alone with my silicone toy and have to reapply, but in an actual intercourse situation I hate to stop what I'm doing to re-lube the ole pussy lips (or ass, whichever the case may be.)

The best thing about JO is it's long-lasting performance. Nothing can beat the velvety sensation of silicone and JO is one of the higher quality silicone products out there. They know what they are doing. The only thing that bothers me is the incompatibility with silicone toys, but I can deal. No 2" thick dildo needs to be ruined because I only want to own one kind of lube!
