Sliquid organics natural - lubricant discontinued by Sliquid, LLC - review by Nebel

I purchased Sliquid Organics Natural lube because a good friend of mine recommended it to me. I was enchanted with the fact that it was both a vegan product and water-based. I always use water-based lubes because they are safe for any material and are condom-friendly. It has been difficult however, to find a lube that is both long-lasting and doesn't leave a mess after the fact.

First of all, the bottle this lube comes in is very adorable. I am an aesthete and appreciate small details. The design on the bottle (which I believe is a lotus flower with the symbol for "female" in the center of it) is cute and marketable. The fonts used on the label are attractive and easy to read. The cap is a simple flip cap. I really like the cap because you can easily control how much lube comes out. In past experiences, I have dealt with lubes that have inefficient dispensers that leave quite a mess. Not the case with this Sliquid stuff.

My first experience with Sliquid Organics Natural lube was during sex with my lover. The lube has a consistency similar (but not exact) to that of the juices the vagina produces. It's less sticky though, and a little thinner. It was a great aid for sex. Sometimes I need extra lubrication, and this worked wonderfully and we didn't need to re-apply. The second time I used this was with a bullet vibe with a little silicone cover. It seemed to soak into the silicone a bit fast, but I didn't notice that it took away from my experience. The most recent time I used this was for my partner. We did a bit of anal play, but the lube didn't hold up as long as I would have liked. Then, he used it so he could rub his cock between my ass cheeks to reduce the friction of skin-to-skin. We had to re-apply a couple of times, because it would absorb quickly. The nice thing though, is that it doesn't leave a mess. It seems to absorb into the skin. That's kind of nice.

Overall, I was pleased with this lube even if it is not long-lasting. I would recommend this to anyone with a penchant for vegan products. It is a great water-based lube for vaginal intercourse, but a thicker lube may be needed for anal play.
