Wet pheromone - lubricant discontinued by Wet Lubricants - review by shotjuan

Wet Pheromone is a water based lube produced by Wet Lubricants. It is used to lubricate masturbators, vibrators, dildos and those who need a little help staying lubricated. It is safe for all toys and condoms. I would suggest using this for sex or hand jobs, but it can be used for any play that requires lube.

This stuff smells a little bit like walking into a hair salon. It's not overpowering, however if that's not your thing you might not like the scent. I personally like it.

Wet pheromone has quite a few ingredients in it. These are:

Deionized Water, Glycerin, Carbomer, Peg, Propylene Glycol, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Imidzolidinyl Urea, Sodium Benzoate, Methylparaben, Tetrahydroxy Ethylenediamine, Tetrasodium EDTA, Aloe Vera Leaf Juice (Aloe Barbadensis), Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E Acetate), Citric Acid, Pheromones, Fragrance.

Most of these ingredients are viscuous water soluable thickening agents and have very low toxicity. Some people have a contact allergy to Imidzolidinyl Urea causing dermatitis. Sodium Benzoate and Methylparaben are preservatives used to increase shelf life.

Wet Pheromone feels as good as a silicone lube, however it's water based. It's smooth, a little bit greasy, and does become sticky after a while. I would have to say it does get more sticky than most premium lubes, but applying a small amount of water is an easy remedy.

The only real disadvantage to this lube is that it will rinse off fairly quickly in the shower. This is alright for me because I only get in the shower afterwards.

The first thing I would like to say is I absolutely love the smell of this lube! When I opened the lid and took a smell it gave me goosebumps. The best way to describe Wet Pheromone is having a semi-sweet floral smell.

My only complaint is that this lube taste horrible! Any oral activities or other possible uses where this lube will come in contact with your mouth should be performed before application of this product.

Whether using Wet Pheromone for sex or on a toy it lasts for quite a while. Depending on what type of toy and the material of it, the duration of this lube will vary. Some toys seem absorb more lube than others; it could be because of material, so reapplication may be necessary with porous toys.

This lube came packaged very safe and tightly sealed.

I really like this lube. Even if I'm not in the mood, just the smell of this stuff drives me crazy! It only takes a small amount to get the party started.

Using it with a masturbator adds to the experience by giving the toy a pleasant aroma. It has not caused any damage to my toys yet either.
