This is one of the best lubricants I have ever had! There is not much to explain; it's thick, it's smooth, it does not stink. There is no smell what so ever. The great thing is after using large amounts of this lube in your anus, you will not feel it after the session. I have had some lubes that feel weird after you are done playing with anal toys. Not this one.
Maximus gave me a great experience, and opened the door for bigger size toys since it's very smooth. I love that after applying it on toys, it stays rather than being loose. This gives you more control of how much of this lube you want on your toy. Plus, since it's water based, it's very easy to clean. Besides this you can use it with any of your favorite toys. It works great for fisting as well; I love to warm up my butt by inserting fingers and this lube just makes it perfect! It does not have any warming sensations or any smell, and it does not need that. It does its job lubricating your ass, and this is how the lube was designed.

Experience
At first I was a little bit skeptical since the price was a little big higher than I wanted to pay for it. But thanks to Eden Fantasys for 30% off, this gave me an opportunity to try out this product and share my experience with all of you anal sex lovers! Once it arrived, I loved the looks of the bottle and that it has a firm "button" on top so it's easy to pour the lube on any toy or your fingers. It was thick and solid. I have poured some on a smaller anal toy, and I was excited that the lube just stayed there. I was able to rub it around and apply a desired amount before I inserted it, and it lasted longer than any other lubricant too. It was a great feeling after I was done stretching my ass. I did not feel that there was any lube still up my ass or anything like that, and there was no smell or anything. Just perfect, I love it!

I know most people absolutely love this lube, but when I try to use it, it feels like my genitals are on fire! Could it be due to the parabens? Any thoughts, or any recommendations for another thicker water-based lubricant?

I'm not sure if it's kosher to mention a competitor's product here, but BabeLube is a wonderful water-based lube that's comparable in thickness to Maximus.

Is Maximus as Great as The Reviews Say?

Two negative things I've seen written are that it has a bitter aftertaste and it does peel off, dry, and need to be washed off.
Positives and opposites I've heard are that it has a natural tasteless feel similar to saliva, and it is a thicker lubricant. Also the pump looks like a great feature that makes this product less messy.
I would like to try it for myself, and wonder if it is really the go-to lube for me, and for others like me. -
This is my favorite water-based lube, hands down and without a doubt. It's pretty thick (ideal for backdoor fun). I've fallen asleep with it on my hands and don't wake up with fuzzy or sticky palms (until they get wet, then it reactivates).

Does Maximus come in any other size bottles? I feel like 8 oz. would be a lot for me to use before it goes bad. Also, it seems like a big bottle to store somewhere discrete.

It really isn't very big - I have mine it a bedside drawer. Maximus is so thick that you don't have to worry about it leaking unless you really press on the bottle. If my mind isn't playing tricks on me, the bottle is about 2-3/4" in diameter and 4-1/2 to 5 inches tall (including pump), and I think it's closer to 4.5
I think mine's good to 2013 or something (I'm not at home now, but I can check later), so I wouldn't worry about it going bad -

My wide did not like that lube vaginally though, she felt some irritation..

Depends on what is a "normal sex" for you? This lubricant is ment for anal sex and I was saying that it's THAT good. Cheers
