So simple!
I'm a real person that is into real sex. I like things that are logical and realistic in the bedroom! I want things to feel great and not become complicated. So strait to the point, this product gets the job done! It adds moisture wherever you think you need it and allows things to go smoothly. This product is so simple to use. I love the pump! It makes things quick and easy. I think Maximus is great all around. It is not a thick and heavy lube. It is light, has no smell, and does exactly what its supposed to do. My husband and I have used it for both vaginal and anal sex. It works great for both, but I do wish it were slightly thicker for anal sex. I find myself wanting an added squirt or two. But its defiantly not messy and washes off with ease. It doesn’t irritate my skin in the least! And that was one of my #1 problems when using other lubes. Maximus is not sticky and stringy like other lubes and it actually feel pretty natural. I would recommend this product to anyone!
I originally bought this it for anal sex. I wanted something simple with no frills that would make first time anal sex go a little smoother. It worked great! I did fill a slight burning the first time we used it for anal sex however I do not believe the product is to blame simply because I have not experience burning since then.

Its not too slippery and makes a hand job more pleasurable for my husband. We use it every chance we get, even when its not "truly" needed. It just makes things so much more enjoyable! For my husbands b-day one of his gifts was anal sex. I knew those other low grade lubes would not cut it especially for a first timer! So I did some research and decided on Maximus and have not been disappointed in the least! My husband was very satisfied and so was I. I never imagined being able to have anal sex without extreme pain. I was wrong! My husband gets exactly what he wants and I don’t feel pain in the least. Again this is a great product!

I know most people absolutely love this lube, but when I try to use it, it feels like my genitals are on fire! Could it be due to the parabens? Any thoughts, or any recommendations for another thicker water-based lubricant?

I'm not sure if it's kosher to mention a competitor's product here, but BabeLube is a wonderful water-based lube that's comparable in thickness to Maximus.

Maximus is my go-to lube. I have very sensitive skin and have never had a problem with it.

Is Maximus as Great as The Reviews Say?

Two negative things I've seen written are that it has a bitter aftertaste and it does peel off, dry, and need to be washed off.
Positives and opposites I've heard are that it has a natural tasteless feel similar to saliva, and it is a thicker lubricant. Also the pump looks like a great feature that makes this product less messy.
I would like to try it for myself, and wonder if it is really the go-to lube for me, and for others like me. -
This is my favorite water-based lube, hands down and without a doubt. It's pretty thick (ideal for backdoor fun). I've fallen asleep with it on my hands and don't wake up with fuzzy or sticky palms (until they get wet, then it reactivates).

Does Maximus come in any other size bottles? I feel like 8 oz. would be a lot for me to use before it goes bad. Also, it seems like a big bottle to store somewhere discrete.

It really isn't very big - I have mine it a bedside drawer. Maximus is so thick that you don't have to worry about it leaking unless you really press on the bottle. If my mind isn't playing tricks on me, the bottle is about 2-3/4" in diameter and 4-1/2 to 5 inches tall (including pump), and I think it's closer to 4.5
I think mine's good to 2013 or something (I'm not at home now, but I can check later), so I wouldn't worry about it going bad -

Thanks for the review, very helpful! I usually prefer silicone lubes over water-based, but I'll have to give this one a try for silicone toys. Sounds like much better quality that the sticky ones I've used.
