This lubricant, Anal Lube, was created by California Exotic Novelties and is designed for anal play or anal sex. It is a water based lubricant that comes in 6oz bottle with a push open top (like a shampoo bottle). This product can be used with toys of all different materials such as silicone, plastic, jelly, metal, etc. It comes in two scents, Cherry and Unscented. If you or your partner tends to be sensitive to chemicals I would suggest using the unscented lubricant. While it will not harm you or your partner if used for oral play, the artificial cherry taste is not a pleasant one. Constructed for anal play, it can be used as a vaginal lubricant, provided you do not have a sensitivity to glycerin based products. This lube is a thick gelatinous substance designed to keep the rectum well lubricated during anal play and sex. Also because of its thickness this will stay where you apply it. Anal Lube is formulated to be a long lasting lubricant. Created to be a non-staining substance, this product can be used in any location without fear of leaving a stain behind. This product is manufactured and produced in the United States of America.

Anal Lube is a gel based lubricant designed to give you the most comfort during anal sex. While it's a water lubricant, the texture definitely feels much thicker than your average vaginal lubricant. When I first opened this product to try it out, I found that I had some difficulty getting it out of the bottle. I had to use two hands and squeeze quite hard to get about a quarter size dollop. I fixed this issue by simply flipping the bottle upside down. The next time I went to use the lube it was very easy for me to squeeze out, even using one hand. When I applied it to my body it stay exactly where I wanted it to, no slipping, running, or dripping. It stayed slippery and smooth for my whole play session and didn't become tacky or sticky after use.

I ordered this in the cherry scented flavor, but it also comes in a non-scented version for those who prefer scentless products. When I opened the bottle I could smell a light cherry scent. For those who like the smell of cherries the smell is very pleasant. When applied to my body it left a lingering cherry scent till I washed it off with warm water and soap. I would not recommend using this product for oral play as the cherry flavor does not taste as good as it smells. When I tested it out, the taste reminded me of the NyQuil cherry cough medication. If you're one of the few who likes the taste of cherry medications then this may suit your flavor palate.

The stay power of this lubricant is impressive. I applied it once at the beginning of my play session and did not need to reapply the product. It coated the toy and the inside of my rectum quite well and did not dry out or cause any chafing. While this is a water based lubricant, and generally not recommended for use in water or the shower, I decided to test out its staying power in a water environment. It definitely does not hold up like a silicone based lubricant would, but I found it was a great aid in getting my toy (or partner) slippery enough to slip in without causing pain. Clean up, after using this product, is simple. Warm water, soap and a soft wash cloth and it came right off. While this product tends to stay where you place it; if you did get some on any clothes or sheets, it comes off very easily and won't leave any stain or residue. For my use the slickness and long lasting ability of this product is what makes me love this product. It doesn't hurt that this lube smells fabulous. If you have any sensitivity to Glycerin, Glycol, or Parbens, this might be a product you want to avoid. Anal Lube comes in 6oz clear plastic bottle. When first opening the bottle you'll need to remove the red stopper that is placed in the mouth of the bottle to prevent spilling. After I did that I spent probably a good 5 minutes trying to pull what I thought was a snap top open, only to figure out that it is a push top (like a shampoo bottle).The front of the bottle says Anal Lube in larger letters so if you're looking for a discreet product to keep out this may not be the best choice. The front label also states that the product is cherry scented, water based, and made in the USA. The back label repeats what is written on the front (in smaller letters) and also includes a list of ingredients.
