That's funny! Pink isn't my favorite color.

I bought Pink Water expecting it to be a generic experience. I have never had much luck with lubes, but Pink Water has changed my outlook on lubricants. Yes, it can be tacky, but it works for quite a long time. It isn't my dream lube, but it has gotten me closer to realizing that there is a perfect lube out there for me. For the price and overall performance, I really cannot complain too much.

Use

Pink Water is a water based lubricant that feels natural for the most part. The thin nature of this lube makes it less than ideal for anal, but it works perfectly for masturbating and vaginal sex. Since it is water based, it can be used with any toy without worrying about degrading or harming the material. If you use lube for or during oral, I would skip this lube and look at flavored ones.
Pink Water comes in three different sizes (1.7, 3.25, 6.75), and all of them come with a pump top. This lube is glycerin free and contains aloe, but it also contains parabens. This is a negative for most. While I do not care for parabens, I make an exception for this lube. The list of ingredients on the product page do not quite match up with the list located on the back of my Pink Water bottle.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

Pink Water comes out of the bottle very thin and slick. It runs fairly quickly, but it is thicker than some other lubricants. Because it doesn't stay in place very well, I do not use it for anal. I prefer much thicker lubes for anal play. When I pump the top, a dime sized amount comes out. The pump top has never stuck or jammed. Not much pressure is needed to push the pump down, and it is super easy to use. When masturbating, I pump this lube right above my clit. While it slowly runs down and over my clit, I have time to sit the bottle on my nightstand and grab my toy. My husband loves to watch it run all the way down to my vaginal opening. It is a very sensual visual for him. It does not feel oily or greasy at all, but it spreads very easily. For a masturbation session, I usually have to reapply this lube about once or twice. However, my solo sessions last from 30 minutes to an hour. Keep in mind that I almost never need lubricant for internal play, but rather I use lube when playing with my clit. For vaginal sex with my husband, we rarely have to reapply. This is mainly because I squirt. We usually just use a drop of lube to get things started. When it does dry, it leaves a slight tacky feeling. I wouldn't say it feels sticky. The tacky feeling is easily removed by a quick cleanup with a wipe or damp cloth.
The first picture is comparing 3 different lubes right out of the bottle. The second is comparing how each lube runs/stays in place after 5 seconds of me holding my hand sideways.

Taste / Aroma

This lube has no smell that I can detect. However, it has a bitter and rather disgusting taste. It doesn't taste like chemicals, but it just tastes really bitter. For this reason, I don't suggest using this for any type of oral play. It would really kill the mood. Instead, buy something flavored. Because we use condoms, the taste of latex plus the taste of Pink Water is really icky. We have multiple flavored lubes, so if either one of us plans on doing oral, we tend to skip this lube and squirt on something else. I am self conscious about how I taste anyways, so there is no chance of me letting him go down on me if we were using this lube.
That being said, he doesn't perform oral as much as I would like, so this lube gets used pretty much all the time. After cleaning up, I always notice that my pubic area feels softer. For this reason, I can stand the tacky feeling prior to cleanup.

Performance

I have noticed some reviews of other lubricants containing aloe stating that the lube almost lathers up. Some say this is because of the aloe in it. However, I have never noticed this with Pink Water. Maybe that is because this lube contains less aloe than others? I don't know for sure. What I do know is that this is not the lube to take in the shower with you. It is too thin, and it will immediately wash away. However, that also means that it is a breeze to wash off the body.
I have tried this lube for anal, and I do not care for it. It doesn't seem to last as long when compared to using it for vaginal sex or solo play. As said before, I mainly use this for clitoral masturbation. These sessions usually last for thirty minutes to an hour. I usually have to reapply after every twenty minutes or so when using with a toy. If my partner or I am using our hands to stimulate my clit, then we usually have to reapply every 10 minutes or so. This is mainly because we create more friction and pressure when using our hands. I love the almost natural feeling of this lube, but I do not like the taste and the parabens. Some complain about how thin this lube is. With a name like "Pink Water", what did you expect? I prefer thin lubes for solo/vaginal play and thick for anal! That is my bedroom rule.

Packaging

Honestly, the container is what first drew me to this product. It is very feminine and pretty. The front says, "Water Based Lubricant for women". This doesn't make it sound like it is for sexual purposes. It sounds like it could be used for those with naturally dry genitals. The back has a list of ingredients. It also says in little words, "For Topical Use. Apply desired amount to genital areas. Not a contraceptive and does not contain spermicide. If irritation or discomfort occurs, discontinue use and consult a doctor."
The bottle is made of a very firm, and somewhat see through, plastic. You can faintly see how much is left in the bottle. The pump top can be twisted to the left. This locks it in place, which makes it safe for travel. My husband and I have had no problems getting the bottle to dispense lube in the heat of the moment. The pump top comes in handy for those unexpected quickies. Even with slippery fingers, this bottle has never failed us. It also comes with a plastic cap. I have thrown this bottle in the drawer, and it has never leaked on me. If you are still cautious, put it in a plastic bag. Because the bottle doesn't scream lube, I would not hesitate to give this to a good friend as a gift. It is very classy and pretty discreet.
    • Discreet looking packaging
    • Easy to use / dispense
    • Would make a nice gift

Personal comments

I have used this lube for over 2 months now, and I have only used about a fourth of my 1.7 ounce bottle. Even though this bottle will last me a long time, I will not hesitate to buy a bigger bottle when I finally do run out.
