Good Clean Love's Almost Naked Personal Lubricant can be used by anybody, both male & female, and is best used for added lubricant during intercourse, foreplay, toy play or any other kind of play! I'll go ahead and state some important facts first. This lube is 95% organic ingredients. I'll list the ingredients in a moment. On the front of the 4 oz. bottle it says "Chemistry without chemicals." So for those who prefer natural and safer ingredients, this is probably a great choice. I must admit I'm no avid lube-user and don't use it often at all, but I can say this lubricant has a lot going for it.

It is compatible with latex and toys. That is what it says on the label: "Safe for latex & toys." I assume that means all toys. It hasn't caused any damage to mine and I'm very certain it's a great choice for those who don't like to worry with what lube is compatible with what toy when you're in the moment. Since the product is without chemicals and 95% organic, I don't think it raises a high risk of allergy concerns, but always check the ingredients before using!

The ingredients in this lubricant are deionized water, xanthum gum, agar, organic aloe barbendensis leaf juice, natural extractives of lemon and vanilla bean, potassium sorbate and benzoic acid.

As for water play with this lube, I don't think it would hold up extremely well. While it would be enough for a while, it easily rinses away with water, so if you're looking for something to withstand a good while in the water, you might want to consider a silicone based lube. While this does work perfect vaginally, I can't really comment on its use for anal sex because I have no experience whatsoever with anal anything. It's thick, but I'm not sure it's thick enough for anal intercourse.

Now that all those details are out of the way, I'll get to the dirty details of how the lube holds up. I will say again, I am not big on lubricant. I don't like using it because I don't like the feeling that usually gets left behind, I don't like a mess and I'm just very weird about residues on my skin. I have used this lube quite a bit to get a good idea of it. If I do use lubricant, I use this.

The lubricant comes in a 4 oz. squeeze bottle. A little bit really goes a long way with this stuff. It's a milky-clear color with a tiny odor similar to plain KY Jelly with a hint of mint. It doesn't contain menthol and doesn't give sensations like cooling or heating. After rubbing it in, it has a light smell similar to the way a glue stick smells. It doesn't leave any greasy or slimy residue behind. I would say its consistency is that of the regular KY Jelly (the kind they use during a gyno exam.) It comes out of the bottle very easily. In fact it doesn't even require squeezing. I have noticed though that it seems to leave my skin (lady bits too) a bit sticky after a while. I'm extremely picky about that though so I doubt the slight stickiness would bother most. It's certainly not half as bad as all the other lubricants I've used, and it seems it's mostly the labia that feels sticky from it. I've used it on my hands (did it again one minute ago to give accurate results here), and it's very moisturizing. I don't dislike the lubricant at all. I think it's a very outstanding product and does great at its job and had I been a lube person I'm sure I would love it! It leaves my hands, feet and legs soft and pretty too. I actually would say it works as a good moisturizer as well as a lubricant. In the case of dryness on your privates, it'll definitely take care of any of that. Even if the dryness isn't vaginal but just regular dryness of the skin, this lube will moisturize it well even after bathing.

When we use this lubricant, we've never had to reach for more. One small dab (smaller than a dime) is all it ever takes and it lasts for a good few hours at least. I am impressed with its moisturizing benefits and how nice my skin looks after rubbing a dab on. On the bottle it does say it's the most healing lubricant available! It's soothing after a wax or razor burn too!

This lube does hold up even through a bit of roughness, rubbing and grinding; it'll keep you slick. I would choose this one over any I've used in the past.

There are several other things that I'm really impressed with. I will add them just in case you guys find these things important too: The product contains no parabens - petrochemicals. It is recommended by medical professionals, according to the bottle. And one of the best, it's 100% vegan, cruelty free!

Funny, the first thing I did was taste this stuff. It's not meant to be eaten and it isn't flavored, but it's safe to kiss, lick, etc. the skin it's applied to. I didn't find the taste to be unpleasant at all. It does have a small taste though. It's like a glue stick (the kind of glue children use). It's nothing that would bother me to kiss or lick though and my partner said he hardly noticed a taste when he licked the areas it was applied to.

Like I mentioned earlier, there is a slight odor that reminds me of a children's glue stick. You really have to sniff to smell it though. It's not bothersome at all.

We've gotten quite a bit of use out of this stuff within the past 6-8 months that we've had it. I don't use it often, but that's only because I usually don't need lube and don't bother to use it. I have mentioned how I'm very picky with lotions or anything leaving residue of any sort on my skin, but I didn't feel the need to wash this off afterwards. It did slightly stick my labia together for a little while, but it wasn't bad. To clean it off, a damp wash cloth will do the trick until you shower the next time, unless you just prefer a shower after your play time. It washes off in just a second even if you've slathered it on. I love that after I've used it and showered later on, my cooter and any other parts it's been on are all so smooth and soft. It does better than a good lotion! I really have no complaints with the lube. I do like it.

Although Good Clean Love's products are usually all packaged fairly simple, I really like the packaging. It's always so tasteful and nice. You'd never know it was anything for sex unless you read the fine print. Well OK, Good Clean Love does kind of give it away, but this can be easily mistaken for a good moisturizer. The packaging is very discreet and I would say great for travel. Every Good Clean Love product I've had comes in perfect packaging. No big text giving away what the product does, and the bottles, tins, etc. are always VERY sturdy. Mine (even the glass bottle of Good Clean Love's oils) have been through heck, dropped an unbelievable amount of times and never have they leaked or shown signs of damage.

I don't quite remember because it's been many months, but I don't think it came with extra instructions. They are included on the bottle itself and are very informative. The bottle says things like "Good Clean Love's organic personal lubricants provide the freshest, sweetest, most healing lubrication available." It also says "95% organic."

The packaging contains no nudity or people. I was actually super happy that I didn't have to worry about nudity or non-discreet labeling on this product, especially with curious kids who love to see what's in the packages!

The lube does not have any special properties such as cooling or warming, but it is a great lubricant and it does its job nicely.

So far we've really enjoyed Good Clean Love products. We've used several of them including the oil sets and they've never disappointed. I would like to add how great they all are as gifts too.
