The Lube I Love
This is one lubricant that everyone needs to own. It is cheap and it last a long time, aside from the residue it leaves on your skin, this lubricant is pretty much perfect.Published: July 22, 2011
Pros:
Cheap, stays moist a long time
Cons:
Bottle
I am glad I found this lube. It is affordable, $6.99 a bottle, water based and really slick.
Ingredients: Distilled Water, glycerin, PEG-8, Aloe Vera Extract, Carbonymethylcellulose, Carbomer 941, Tetra Sodium EDTA , Methylparaben, DMDM Hydantoin
Sometimes Glycerin can cause yeast infections in women who are prone to yeast infections. So be advised of that!
This lubricant is marketed as unflavored and clear. I however found that it has a slight aftertaste! It doesn't have a smell per-say but it is kinda condom-smelling.
I bought this lubricant after using KY. KY is really thicker, but this lube is more like water, and it sticks. It really leaves a residue on your skin after use, which can be a bother if you don't have time to shower afterwards. It is really difficult to get off after you have anal sex, I find that it sticks to you more that way. It lasts for a long time, which I think is mostly the residue lasting on your skin.
My best use for this lube is anal sex. Despite that you have to scrub to get it off your skin, I found that I don't have to reapply, which is something I like in my anal lube.
I wish that this had a more pleasant taste. It leaves a residue in your mouth if you try to use it for oral, which I don't advise because this lubricant isn't meant to be consumed.
Also, this lubricant wouldn't make good massage oil because of the residue it leaves on your skin.
I will continue to buy this; it's cheap and works about the same as KY and astroglide. I hope to try freezing it to make homemade quivers, and I plan on repurchasing this lubricant over and over again!
If I could change something about the lubricant, it would be the adult picture on the front of the bottle, it makes the lubricant non-discreet.

might be a stupid question, but can this be used also as an anal lube?

Anyone had this lube stain cotton sheets?
-
CZBeen using this lube for a little while, and it seems to stain cotton sheets. I thought that was only an attribute of silicon lubes. Anyone else have this issue? -
No that one in particular but I have had a water based stain before. I just used some oxy clean or shout (whatever stain remover is in the cupboard at the time) and it usually takes care of it.
Or even just a pretreat with your reg degergent -

They are green sheets and now have pink spots!

Thank you for viewing Smooth & slick lubricant review page!

thanks for the review. If it leaves a residue on you after using, why do you still use it. So many other choices out there. I have tried a sample of this a few years back, and it did not work very well for my wife and I.
thanks for the review! we've used it, have yet to taste it...
