The perfect lube?

Okay, so this stuff is just amazing. My partner and I were looking for a basic lube for all uses, that wasn't smelly or warming and simply WORKED. Maximus does this very well. It has almost zero smell, and will lube up everything quite well. A little does go a long way with this stuff, but it’s easy to use with the included pump. Both of us can masturbate with it, it’s great for sex if she is a little dry, and it works very well for anal play for me.
Once applied, it lasts for a very long time, and if you have a little left over on your hand, just wipe it on your thigh or on the sheets, and it will disappear with no residue at all. Oh, and because you don't need to use a lot, it lasts for a very long time. Our last bottle lasted us about a year.
Before this, my partner and I had used a pile of the drugstore stuff, and it just wasn't what we were looking for. That cheap stuff is very runny, which can get messy, and not very pleasant after having sex. It smelt pretty bad too, and (even worse) it’s pretty recognizable because I think everyone has tried to use it at some point. Sometimes it would even kill some of the pleasure. So, we went on here looking for a lube that was simple and did the job. We didn't care about how it tasted, and wanted no smell rather than blueberries or something ridiculous. We hit the nail right on the head, and are now on our second bottle. We recommend this product to all of our friends, you included!

I know most people absolutely love this lube, but when I try to use it, it feels like my genitals are on fire! Could it be due to the parabens? Any thoughts, or any recommendations for another thicker water-based lubricant?

I'm not sure if it's kosher to mention a competitor's product here, but BabeLube is a wonderful water-based lube that's comparable in thickness to Maximus.

Maximus is my go-to lube. I have very sensitive skin and have never had a problem with it.

Is Maximus as Great as The Reviews Say?

Two negative things I've seen written are that it has a bitter aftertaste and it does peel off, dry, and need to be washed off.
Positives and opposites I've heard are that it has a natural tasteless feel similar to saliva, and it is a thicker lubricant. Also the pump looks like a great feature that makes this product less messy.
I would like to try it for myself, and wonder if it is really the go-to lube for me, and for others like me. -
This is my favorite water-based lube, hands down and without a doubt. It's pretty thick (ideal for backdoor fun). I've fallen asleep with it on my hands and don't wake up with fuzzy or sticky palms (until they get wet, then it reactivates).

It is slightly bitter but not bothersome. It is thicker and also works very well for anal. I never feel the need to wash it off unless I overdue in the heat of passion.

Does Maximus come in any other size bottles? I feel like 8 oz. would be a lot for me to use before it goes bad. Also, it seems like a big bottle to store somewhere discrete.

It really isn't very big - I have mine it a bedside drawer. Maximus is so thick that you don't have to worry about it leaking unless you really press on the bottle. If my mind isn't playing tricks on me, the bottle is about 2-3/4" in diameter and 4-1/2 to 5 inches tall (including pump), and I think it's closer to 4.5
I think mine's good to 2013 or something (I'm not at home now, but I can check later), so I wouldn't worry about it going bad -
