Oceanus sensuals gel - lubricant discontinued by Oceanus Naturals - review by CSEA

As my lubricant stash started running low, I was on the search for something new and fun. I was looking for something paraben-free, smooth, silky, and able to work well for those who are sensitive. For awhile, I used Sliquids which I must say are my overall absolute favorite. When we got this product, we were very happy with its appearance. It has a very cute bottle and simplistic design. I love the way the dispensing cap is a push down tab to dispense the lubricant. However, once we dispensed the lubricant and rubbed it on his penis, we were overwhelmingly surprised by how thick it was going on. It was a huge turn-off. I had to give him oral sex to remove the lubricant, turn him back on, and keep on the action!

However, I decided to switch things up a bit and try the Oceanus gel as I thought it had many characteristics that may relate to the Sliquid product line. I must say, we were highly disappointed by this product. We were unhappy with this product to the extent that my partner now refers to this product as “mucus.” The texture of this product is so thick it does not feel velvety and enjoyable, it is more like a thick snot or gel used in the hair of a grease-head. The texture was unpleasant and did not provide enough slippery-ness. This product does not have any unusual taste or chemical scent which is good.

This product may work well for some during anal play as it is thick and may provide a nice cushion. As a lubricant, this may work for beginners and more advanced toy collectors. It is long lasting which is good for long sessions of fun. It may not be used with silicone toys. As a lubricant, I feel you are better off with any of the Sliquids lubricants overall. You never know what you have till its gone!

After trying different products, we definitely do not like this gel. We barely use this product and still find it too thick to enjoy.
