Thin Density, Thick Staying Power!

This is a great lubricant for everyone! The staying power alone makes this a winner in my book, but coupled with no smell and a very mild taste this has quickly become a personal favorite of mine. The non-leaky bottle is also a major plus for those of you who hate opening your stash to find a greasy blob settling into your clothes and toys.

Use

Evolved Novelties scores another winner. This lubricant is marketed as a jack/masturbation aid, but it performs well beyond that. You can use this lubricant for solo stimulation, paired with your favorite sex toys, for anal play, as a massage lubricant, or as couples lubricant with your partner. This product is great for men, women, and couples alike once you get past the masculine packaging. I wouldn't recommend using this lubricant in the bath or shower since water-based lubes wash away fairly easily. As a water-based lubricant there is low risk of allergic reactions but as always check the contents and try a test patch on your skin before use.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

The consistency of this lubricant is very runny, as to be expected from the thin density description in the name. It's very smooth, almost silky in texture, and never turned sticky during use. I found the consistency and texture to be a lot smoother than other lubricants I have used in the past and the staying power was fantastic. I never had to apply more during use and it never got that sticky feeling most drug store lubricants get. It pours very easily from the package opening, but take note that you will have to rub it in quickly if you don't want it to run down your body or toy and onto the floor. The consistency feels like putting a drop of water on your hand, or wherever you may be putting it, and once rubbed in leaves a smooth, slight oily feeling.

Taste / Aroma

If smells bother your senses this is a great choice for you. There is no smell to this lubricant once applied to your skin. If you open the bottle and hold it directly under your nose there is a very, very faint smell which I'm not entirely sure isn't just the plastic bottle the lubrication comes in. There is a very mild taste that distinctly reminds me of KY lubricants, but is nowhere near as strong. I personally don't mind the flavor, but if you have tasted KY lubes in the past and did not enjoy the flavor, this is probably not a choice for you to use during oral.

Performance

This is a long lasting lubricant. I placed a decent sized drop on the back of my hand, rubbed it in gently, and let it sit until dried. It easily lasted a good thirty minutes to an hour before absorbing into my skin. When using a generous amount on a toy or partner the lubricant had to be washed away. It does wash away easily with soap and water, but be sure you use plenty of soap or it will leave an oily feeling on your skin. For that reason I don't recommend using this lubricant to "oil-up" a partner's entire body unless you plan to spend plenty of time washing it all off. If this lubricant gets on your clothing, carpet, bedding, or any other textiles it does wash out easily and did not leave a grease spot.

Packaging

This is non-discreet packaging at it's finest. The bottle is clear, with a black flip top lid, and a predominantly blue and black label. The label features a masculine hand in what is meant to be a masturbation grip. In bold white letters are the words "THIN DENSITY JACK-AIDE", "ZERO TOLERANCE", "THIN WATER BASED LUBE", and in slightly smaller font "COME HARD", and "MASTURBATION LUBRICANT." The back side of the bottle also offers the following bullet points: "Formulated for intense masturbation", "Thin density is light and slippery", "Silky smooth 'silicone' feel", "Never sticky or tacky", "Use alone or with a partner", "Works great for sex", "Washes off very easily", and "Condom and toy safe." There are also directions in English, Spanish, French, and German, a typical warning label, a list of ingredients, as well as a link to zerotolerance.com.

The flip top lid does make this easily to open and use with one hand, and the snapping sound of the lid will audibly inform you if it is open or shut completely. I haven't had any problems with the package leaking like I have with other lubricants in the past, but if you are going to take this with you while traveling, or keep it in your purse or bag, I would suggest putting it in a sealable pouch, like a zip-lock bag, just to be safe since the thin density does lend its self to getting on the outside of the bottle during use.

Personal comments

There are no "bells and whistles" so to speak with this lubricant; it's not warming, cooling, or tingling, but don't let that detour you from giving it a try. This lube has outlasted all of my other lubricants during use and become a personal favorite in my collection for solo and couple play.
