This lube will keep me warm through the long winter months

A new hybrid lubricant with the added sensation of warming is an experience worth checking out. The warming is very intense, and because it is a hybrid lube, it will last a long time.

Use

The Wet Synergy Warming is a hybrid lubricant that produces an intense warming sensation. You get the best of both worlds with hybrid lubricants because they contain both silicone and water. Hybrid lubricants last longer than water based lubes, but are non-staining, and can be washed off easily with soap and water. These qualities are certainly true for the Wet Synergy Warming.

Because these lubricants are so new, there is a debate about weather or not they should be used with silicone toys. As you all may know, silicone lubricants can deteriorate silicone toys, and that is why they shouldn’t be used together. Personally, I’ll primarily be using this with glass toys, and not silicone ones, but ultimately it’s up to you if you feel safe using a hybrid lubricant on your silicone toys. This lube is latex friendly, and fine to use with other toy materials.

As always, look at the ingredients carefully to make sure there is nothing in the lubricant that will irritate you. You can take extra precautions by doing a spot test on the inside of your wrist to be sure. It contains glycerine, which is known to cause yeast infections in some women, and you may want to avoid this lube if that is a problem for you. The ingredients in this lubricant are: Glycerin, Deionized Water (Aqua) Dimethiconol, Sodium Polyacrylate, Dimethicone, Cyclopentasiloxane, Trideceth-6, PEG/PPG, Dimethicone, Pentylene Glycol, Trimethylpentanediol/Adipic Acid Copolymer, Vanillyl Butyl Ether.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

This lube is awesome because it is thick. Not as thick as Maximus, but thick enough to stay in place. It will not run, or cause a disappointing mess all over your sheets.

The lube is not tacky, greasy, or stringy. It absorbs in the skin without becoming sticky, or leaving much residue. After absorbing, it leave my skin silky smooth which I absolutely love.

Taste / Aroma

Synergy Warming has an odd taste, but a pleasant light smell. To me, it smells a lot like vanilla ice cream, but don’t let the smell fool you, this lube is really not meant for ingestion. It leaves a strange tingly sensation on the tongue, so I don’t recommend it for oral play.

Performance

This is a lubricant that is probably going to be too intense for some. I only require a pea sized dab on my clitoris, and in about 30 seconds, I start to feel an intense warming sensation. The warming sensation lasts for about 15 minutes, which is a lot longer than most water based lubricants.

I’ve applied this lube to various parts of my body, but the only place I notice any sensation is on my clitoris. No warming for my nipples, but that’s fine by me, it feels fantastic on the clitoris.

Packaging

The bottle has everything you need to know about the product, so therefore, no extra packaging is needed. All you need to do is take off the foil seal over the opening of the bottle in order to use.

If someone picks the bottle up, they’ll be able to tell what it is, so avoid the embarrassment and keep it tucked away. I haven’t had any problems with the bottle leaking, and pressing open the lid requires quite a bit of effort, so no worries about storage.

Experience

This 7 ounce bottle of lube is going to last me a long time because only a tiny amount is required for much sensation. Even if I’m not in the mood, applying a dab on my clitoris causes me to want to take care of business. I’m really glad I got to try a hybrid lubricant, and if you like warming sensations, I definitely suggest you try this out.
Follow-up commentary
I've gotten used to the sensation of the warming, it doesn't feel as intense anymore. The bottle was a little leaky, so when I finished with Toy Fluid, I placed some of this lube in that bottle and since it has a pump top, it is easier for me to get the amount I want. This is a good lube to get if you like a lot of sensation, particularly warming.

How did it perform as a lube? Or did you only use it as an arousal gel on your clit?

Great review, answered a lot of my questions. I am waiting on my first silicone toy and I think I may pick up a sample pack of Wet Synergy from work and spot test it on the toy to see if it deteriorates the silicone. Thanks!

  • Hot?
    • I wonder why ingredient makes this product so hot?
    • Do you want an ingredient analysis? Ok.

      Glycerine - lubricant (water based)
Dimethiconol/Dimethico ne - lubricant (silicone based)
      Sodium Polyacrylate - thickener
      Cyclopentasiloxane - lubricant (silicone based)
      Trideceth-6 - surfactant/emulsifier (silicone based)
      PEG/PPG-Dimethicone - lubricant/emulsifier (silicone based)
      Pentylene Glycol - plasticizer/emulsifier
      Trimethylpentanediol/A dipic Acid Copolymer - conditioner/lubricant
Vanillyl Butyl Ether - this is what causes the warming sensation (like "capsaicin" from peppers)
    • Thanks for clarifying that because I was looking at the ingredients myself and couldnt see what was in it that was supposed to give that appeal and I worked in the supplement industry for years. I was looking for L-arginine,menthol, capsaicin but couldn't find anything at all.
