ID Frutopia - lubricant discontinued by I-D Lubricants - review by ViVix

Use it "whenever, however, and as often as you like," the ID Fruitopia bottle says. With 3.4 fluid ounces, there was more than enough to test all of the aspects. Although glycerin is one of the ingredients of this product, it is very uncommon to be allergic to glycerin. Therefore, I found myself using this for oral and vaginal sex without issue. I did not, however, find it useful for anal sex as it is just too thin and the phrase "banana butt" kills the mood almost instantaneously. Also, since ID Fruitopia is water-based, it isn't of much use for shower play.

ID Fruitopia is very slick and smooth. However, it is also a little thin. It will run and drip. Yet, it also lasts for quite some time and doesn't leave skin sticky or greasy after. I actually let a small amount dry on my leg, and it felt somewhat silky. I then taste-tested that area, and the banana flavoring seemed to have absorbed.

This lubricant smells a lot like banana Runts. It also originally tastes very similar, but then a kind of tangy aftertaste shows up. It isn't bad...just odd. This isn't a strong scent once applied, which I am thankful for. I live in an apartment complex where the neighbors can smell your dinner in the hallway, so a strong smelling lubricant might be detected by Mr. and Mrs. Snoopy across the hall.

This product does last for quite some time...I didn't reapply mine through oral fun, but after a bit, there is enough of your own lubrication anyway. I did rinse mine off. It was only a very faint banana smell that encouraged me to do so, as the flavor wasn't there and neither was any noticeable residue. I also have an extremely sensitive nose and at times, regardless of how light the scent is, I can't stomach it for long periods of time. I really like the pump top of this lubricant. I think it helps keep dispensing from getting messy. The plastic cap over the pump top cannot be opened with one hand, but this makes it ideal for worry-free travel.

This is a clear 3.4 ounce bottle. There is a pump top and a clear lid over that. Upon arrival, there was a plastic tear strip around the cap used for opening the product. Then, the pump top had to be turned (as is common with lotions and hand soap) in order to be unlocked and to become dispensable. This item doesn't actually say lubricant on it in large letters or anything, but what else could this be mistaken for? Tell any surprise visitor that it is a foaming hand sanitizer if you must. Then rush it out of the room before anyone asks to try it.
