Have you wanted to try a few lubes to see if you like them prior to paying a large price for a bottle of lube you are unsure about? I love trying the samples first before buying a bottle! That way I know it will work in the crucial moments...this sampler box is absolutely perfect for trying before buying!!

Use

The Sliquid Sampler box is perfect for trying before you buy, packing in your purse or travel bag or just having a variety on hand! You get flavored lubes for those sensual oral moments, silicone lubes for slippery erotic fun, water based for hot and sexy moments, and a gel for back door surprises.

This sampler will work great for anyone needing or wanting that little bit of extra glide during foreplay, solos, toy play or penetration. There are some allergy concerns, my husband had reactions to a couple types of the lube, the H2O and Sassy. They burned him during use and stalled our play time for a few hours.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

H2O: A bit thin for a lube and it does slip around after pouring but stays in place during use. This lube is a great lube for intercourse or toy play.

SASSY: Thick, almost gel like consistency that allows it to stay in place better and gives it a thickness for anal sex.


SWIRL: This is flavored for the perfect oral experience. The flavors in the sampler are cherry vanilla, blue raspberry and green apple. This lube was a slightly bit thicker than the H2O, but was about the same consistency. It did not burn my husband, but that could have been due to the fact that it wasn't on him very long.


SILVER: Silicone lubes are very long lasting and slippery and this one was no exception. Actually the clean up made us realize how good the lube really is, it did not want to come off very well!! It has a slightly thicker consistency and did stay in place after rubbing it on the area targeted.

Taste / Aroma

H2O: There is a faint aroma of Mr. Bubbles and the flavor is lightly soapy with an aloe vera aftertaste. It is very hard to describe, but this is what it reminds me of, weird but true.

SASSY: There was a slight Aloe Vera type smell, even though there is none in the ingredients list. The flavor was a bit plastic like, kind of odd, but not overly unpleasant.

SWIRL:
Green Apple- This smells and tastes like jolly rancher green apple flavor. The taste is a bit watered down, but there is no mistaking it. This was my favorite of the three flavors in the package!!
Cherry Vanilla- This smells like cherry bubble gum. I did not notice a vanilla aroma, however. The flavor was faint, but when I breathed in through my nose while licking it made the taste more pronounced.
Blue Raspberry- The smell reminds me of Blue Raspberry Sno-cones. The flavor was a bit surprising, it tastes like blueberry pie filling, only a bit watered down. I was a bit amused at the difference in flavor versus aroma, but it was reasonably pleasant.

SILVER: The aroma is a slight medicinal bit super faint and not irritating. You really need to hold this up to your nose to smell the aroma. The flavor is horrid. Well, not the flavor itself, but the greasy, oily slimy feeling left in your mouth until you brush your tongue and teeth!! I do not recommend this as an oral lube!!!!

Performance

H2O: This was a decent performer for toys but it had a burning sensation on my husband's penis, we think it is either the plant cellulose or the citric acid, but are not sure which ingredient is the culprit. It did wash off immediately, which was a good thing, however the burning did not completely go away for about 30 minutes. The lube felt fairly slippery for me and lasted about 15-20 minutes after which reapplication was necessary.

SASSY: This was another product that did not work very well for my husband. It does work for me, but did need to be reapplied every10-15 minutes. It is very thick and absorbs into your skin fairly rapidly. It does leave you feeling very soft.

SWIRL: (Green Apple, Cherry Vanilla, Blue Raspberry) This was a fun oral lubricant for my husband and I, we do not dare use it for very long due to the previous burning sensations from other Sliquid products. I used this by teasing it on with my finger and licking it off immediately and that was quite a hit with both of us!! I could see where frequent application would be necessary. My husband had to wash this with soap and water, the aroma was quite lingering.

SILVER: Being silicone based, this is waterproof and latex friendly. It is a very long lasting and extremely slippery lube. It outperformed its use and was a bit difficult to remove with soap and water, but did come off after the second washing. This was good for my husband and I, it did not burn him in any way.

Packaging

The Sliquid Sampler comes in a small and discrete box with a dragonfly on the front. It looks completely different than the one in the picture. Inside the box there are foil packs that tear at the top for easy access and there are two packs per style of lube. The different lubes are: Silver (silicone), H2O, Sassy, Swirl (Green apple), Swirl (cherry vanilla), and Swirl (blue raspberry).

I love that Sliquid uses natural and minimal ingredients, is paraben and glycerine free and is not tested on animals. I wanted to love this lube so much! I did like the flavored ones, the silicone was wonderful (unfortunately most of my toys are silicone), but this brand has an ingredient that does not work for my husband. And, believe me, if it doesn't work for him that means I suffer.

This burns his penis severely, stopping all activity for a few hours or the rest of the night. I realize it is a sensitivity on his part, however others may be prone to this as well. We are not sure if it is the citric acid or the cotton cellulose. We have used other lubes with citric acid, but not the plant cellulose. I am sorry, but we are not going to push it and find out which one is the problem, it is too painful for him.

I would recommend this to someone prior to buying a full bottle! You can try out the lube line, figure out which is your favorite and then buy the full size bottle of the product. Great idea for us who like to experiment a bit with our lubes or those looking to find just the right one. Trial size samplers will also help determine if you have a reaction to the ingredients, therefore saving you a bit of money on something that does not work for you.

The Sliquid lube seems to need frequent application, but for my toys was a great choice. I am very glad I was able to try the whole line with this sampler pack and will now look for comparable lubes in other brands, my husband will thank me!
