Very good lubricant and long lasting
Maximus is a very good water based lubricant. It is ideal for anal or vaginal sex and have a long lasting and a good glide. But it's taste is not very good.Published: July 19, 2009

For years I need a good water based lubricant for sexual intercourse or the use of dildo and vibrators. I tested several that I bought at the sex shop or supermarkets in my country. But most have the same consistency very liquid and dries very quickly without really provide effective lubrication. After reading the opinions and reviews on the site Edenfantasys, I decided to buy Maximus lubricant to test it and make my opinion.
The volume is important (8.25 fl oz) and you will keep for several weeks to several months depending on the frequency of your sex. The distribution system of liquid is convenient and avoids waste. this gel is water-based which allows it to be compatible with condoms and dildos in jelly or silicone.
Now turn to the practical part, gel consistency is quite thick and it is easy to spread without much flow. It offers a very good glide and it is very pleasant to use. I felt great pleasure and comfort when used in vaginal report. My wife finds it nice and nonirritating, it has become essential during sexual relations because it is very pleasant. We have tested him in anal sex with lots of fun too. Usually we used Vaseline but it flows better and slid more better. Further more this lubricant is easy to clean and not stain the sheets or clothing. You have just to put water to clean it.
in my opinion, it have only two default :
- its taste is too strong and if you want to lick the lubricated I advise you to clean it.
- It contain paraben which are not very good for your health. If i found the same quality lubricant with the addition of natural products, I probably will elect it better water based lubricant of the world.

Experience
I prefer used liquid silk when introduce dildo. this lubricant have a better glide with the material jelly or rubber. It contain paraben which are not very good for your health.

I know most people absolutely love this lube, but when I try to use it, it feels like my genitals are on fire! Could it be due to the parabens? Any thoughts, or any recommendations for another thicker water-based lubricant?

I'm not sure if it's kosher to mention a competitor's product here, but BabeLube is a wonderful water-based lube that's comparable in thickness to Maximus.

Maximus is my go-to lube. I have very sensitive skin and have never had a problem with it.

Is Maximus as Great as The Reviews Say?

Two negative things I've seen written are that it has a bitter aftertaste and it does peel off, dry, and need to be washed off.
Positives and opposites I've heard are that it has a natural tasteless feel similar to saliva, and it is a thicker lubricant. Also the pump looks like a great feature that makes this product less messy.
I would like to try it for myself, and wonder if it is really the go-to lube for me, and for others like me. -
This is my favorite water-based lube, hands down and without a doubt. It's pretty thick (ideal for backdoor fun). I've fallen asleep with it on my hands and don't wake up with fuzzy or sticky palms (until they get wet, then it reactivates).

It is slightly bitter but not bothersome. It is thicker and also works very well for anal. I never feel the need to wash it off unless I overdue in the heat of passion.

Does Maximus come in any other size bottles? I feel like 8 oz. would be a lot for me to use before it goes bad. Also, it seems like a big bottle to store somewhere discrete.

It really isn't very big - I have mine it a bedside drawer. Maximus is so thick that you don't have to worry about it leaking unless you really press on the bottle. If my mind isn't playing tricks on me, the bottle is about 2-3/4" in diameter and 4-1/2 to 5 inches tall (including pump), and I think it's closer to 4.5
I think mine's good to 2013 or something (I'm not at home now, but I can check later), so I wouldn't worry about it going bad -
