Very Silky Indeed
The texture and lasting power of Liquid Silk make it a solid lube for most any occasion. It's very reasonably priced for the amount and quality of the product you get. An excellent lube, truly the only downfall is the flavor deters oral play after use.Published: November 4, 2009
Pros:
Convenient pump dispenser, sensual texture, lasts a long time.
Cons:
Pump can be messy for traveling, awful flavor.
Follow-up commentary

In the three and a half weeks since we purchased this lube, we have already managed to use about 3/4 of the bottle. We've used it for anal play, sex and mostly manual stimulation. My husband really likes to make sure he's got plenty of lube on his hand when he's stimulating my g-spot so that his knuckles aren't hurting me. This stuff really helps with that.
Keep in mind that we've been using this stuff almost every night because we don't have anything else right now. This lube doesn't have to be reapplied that frequently, we're just using it all the time.
We're going to be trying out a few different lubes since we're almost out. But we'll likely be getting another bottle of this soon.

Liquid Silk and Silicone Toys
-
So, while looking through highly rated water based lubes, I came across Liquid Silk. Aside from the bitter taste, no one seems to have any complaints.
However, I noticed that the fourth ingredient is Dimethicone - and I was wondering what everyone's experience with this and silicone sex toys was? Is the silicone in Liquid Silk a small enough portion that it has no effect on toys, or is it generally not recommended for that type of play?
Or does the bonding potential of silicone lubes have more to do with the type/quality of silicone than anything else? -
That's a really good question because Dimethicone is a silicone.
Basically it should be ok to use as long as the toy is made of medical grade silicone. There should, in theory, be no reaction. I, personally, wouldn't want to test that out on my own toys though. You can do a patch test on a small part of the toy. The reaction should be immediate if there is going to be one.
Anyone else know about this? -
I have had liquid silk react to a silicone toy. Which sucks because I love it. :(
