Wait, do I smell.. glue?

If you can get over the smell, stickiness and crustiness; this is a decent lube if you are looking for something water based, affordable and will stay slick for quite a while.

Use

Adam & Eve Personal Lubricating Gel is a very thick water based lube. It is safe to use with condoms, all toy materials and washes off easily with soap and water. It does contain glycerin, however, so if you are sensitive to that then you might want to skip this one. Good for vaginal, anal, toys.. any situation where you might need a little extra lubrication. I prefer thicker lubes for toy play and this one is fine for that.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

This one is very thick and stays slick for a long time. It is fairly sticky and just gets stickier as it dries which is a big downside to this lube. Once it dries, it leaves a crusty residue which will have you running to take a shower afterwards.

Taste / Aroma

Even though the smell isn't too terrible, it can be a little off putting to me at times. I find that it is reminiscent of the smell of glue. While I can usually ignore that for the most part, if you are planning on any oral, this tastes pretty bad and it will linger in your mouth for a long time afterwards. yuck.

Performance

This lube lasts a LONG time! I'm in a long distance relationship and my boyfriend and I have had some very long and steamy phonecalls; some of which last for around 2hrs or so. Using this lube, I never have to reapply once which is great. The downside, however, is that once it dries.. it becomes crusty and flaky and just gross. You will definitely want to go take a shower afterwards just to wash it off you. As I mentioned in the "Taste/Aroma" section, it does smell like glue to me, and so its like having dried crusty glue stuck to you. ick! Thankfully, it does wash off easily with soap and water.

Silicone based lubes are typically the best for anal because they last longer and tend to be slicker than water based kinds, they're also condom compatible (A quick note here about anal and condoms- you should still use one even though there's no risk of pregnancy, the tissues in your anus are really delicate and there's no natural lubricant to help clean out possible infections/germs. Plus, those condoms designed for extra sensations for Him may be even better with such a tight fit). I've used Pjur backdoor and while it's consistency is good, the jojoba oil for 'relaxing' the area gives a very peculiar sensation that's not quite warm or tingly or anything, just present and unwelcome. For some women, that's WAY too much. So if I were to pick a product I would definitely say the Pink Silicone Lubricants (available on this site). They even have Vitamin E and the design of the bottle looks discrete and feminine.
