Well, It Gets The Job Done
Buy "Wet fun flavors" instead of this. It costs a buck less and I'm pretty sure it doesn't contain any fructose.Published: February 5, 2010
Pros:
water based, feels good, doesn't stain
Cons:
bad taste, a bit sticky, contains fructose
I bought this at the mall a little while back for the same price that it sells for here. The one that I have is Wild Strawberry and it comes in a totally different looking bottle. (Do they even make Wild Strawberry anymore? Should I be concerned about that?)
Considering that it's main selling point is being flavored, the flavor is really quite bad. It's that gross artificial and chemical sweetness that a lot of bulk candy or cheap lip glosses have. It smells better than it tastes but the smell isn't anything to write home about. The gel-like consistency helps it stay where you put it while not getting globby. It doesn't last all that long but it does take some effort to clean off afterwards.
One of the things that I don't like about it are the ingredients. There are five different dyes in this to make it red and the color serves absolutely no purpose. Another ingredient it doesn't need is fructose. Needless to say, I'm not very comfortable putting any type of sugar in my butt for various reasons. Not to mention that finding anything red colored (such as this product) in that area can be rather startling, if you know what I mean.
It says it's "The Original All Purpose Lubricant" but I don't think it's very well suited for all purposes. Much to my delight, it's good for solo masturbation. Just a little raindrop of it gets my clit instantly hard and "ready for action."
To put it very simply: it does what it needs to do but it could do it a lot better. It's not the worst lube I've ever used nor is it the best. I think that it's most useful for oral sex or toyless masturbation. Being the first lube that I ever bought, this will always have a special place in my heart although it won't have any place in the drawer next to my bed.

Thank you for viewing Joy jelly – lubricant review page!

I'm sooo with you about the unnecessary dyes and (LOL!) putting sugar in your butt! Sugar in your pussy can encourage yeast infections, why put crap in a product that encourages that?
Yes, thank God this hasn't given me any infections!
Don't feel obliged to keep a special space in your heart for your first lube. Mine was KY, and I really would like to forget that first time. Like my another one as well.
Too bad about the taste. The red dye doesn't sound appealing either!
Thanks for the review.
Eew...I am not a fan of flavored lubes anyway, so meh. I am really sorry you have to taste that.
What are the ingredients in this lube besides fructose? How well does it clean up?
thanks for the review
Thanks for the interesting review.
Red dyes, sugars... sounds terrible.
