Well now, ladies, it's not just "a guy thing".

For me, Jack-Aide medium density makes for a great lube. I see no need to use any other type of water based lube, unless I just want to experiment with other lubes. Guys, given my past experience with a lover, I can't imagine you not liking this lube. I really can't think of any cons right now. This was an excellent idea to try out! And ladies, it's not just "a guy thing."

Use

I received Jack-Aide by mistake. But in hindsight, maybe not. A man's fist appears by the name of this medium density lube. Uh, oh, I thought, this is for a guy, not me. So I tucked it out of the way in my overflowing toy box. I didn't have a real plan for it since I don't have another lover - YET.

I've had the lube in my toy box for a while and see it now and then as I search for just the right toy for my yearnings. Then, one day it occurred to me to just go ahead and give it a try. What could it hurt, it's just lube, right? So, I did. And guess what ladies, we can use it too, it's not just "a guy thing".

Jack-Aide is marketed as a lube for male masturbation, the intended purpose, however, it can be equally used by ladies. Masterbation, anal play, and lubing up a toy are the best uses for it, and of course, SEX - YAAAY!.

I didn't see any precaution on the label, however, there was a warning to stop using should you experience any discomfort or irritation. I didn't have any problems. It's also slippery so I'd make sure none of it hits the floor should you be on the floor when using it. Otherwise, just wipe it up as soon as possible so you don't risk slipping. And there's a warning to, I quote, "keep out of reach of mirrors." Ummm, what? Just struck me funny - didn't know mirrors could reach out, well, whatever.

Ready to begin using Jack-Aide, I went right to my most, well one of my most favorite toys, iEgg and put a small dab on the iEgg. I slid iEgg all over my clit and vagina areas, spreading out the lube. It glided on smoothly, slippery and wet. I enjoyed the feel and movement of the lube where the iEgg or my fingers met my body.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

As I sat down on my bed, I opened the lube. When I touched the lube to my finger, I noticed it didn't run down the finger at all. I started kind of playing with it in between two fingers and my hand to get a feel for it, (no pun intended). The lube wasn't thick, but it wasn't watery either. Just the right density, staying right where I dabbed it. It was very slippery as my fingers glided through it easily.

Taste / Aroma

Sitting on my bed in anticipation of what was to come, (oops, did it again), I curiously sniffed - no odor. Then I cautiously tasted. Seemed like I tasted something. Tasted again and then a third time. Nope, no real taste.

I have a very sensitive sense of smell so I was pleased there was no scent to the Jack-Aide medium density water based lube. I can't really compare it with any other lubes except the store-bought-standards I've used. And they are just different products.

Performance

When I laid back on my pillows, I touched a bit of the lube to my clit. I played there for a quite a while very nicely using the lube. Since I still had plenty of lube on my fingers, I did a little internal exploring for my special spot. My fingers slid in so easily. The lube never did dry up and it stayed very slippery, wet, and great during all my play time.

When I was done playing and exploring, I did notice that there was something on my fingers kind of like when putting hand lotion on but not greasy. Just that something was there that didn't really rub in. Washing with soapy water was needed. All traces of the lube washed off quickly. No need to run for the shower since there was no sticky mess to clean up.

I liked the fluidity of this lube. It spread easily where I moved my fingers or the iEgg without running. The fact that I didn't need more than the first dab of the lube was impressive for a water based lube.

I was pleasurably surprised to find Jack-Aide to be so satisfying given the intended use, male masturbation. I used it as an experiment and let me tell you, what an experiment! It performed well for what I'd expect from any good lube. So ladies, try it, you just might like it.

Packaging

Jack-Aide medium density comes in 5 different fluid ounce bottles. When looking at the bottle label it's very clear what it's for, so it's not discreet. You might want to keep it from view of inquiring eyes. Use instructions are printed on the label. It is condom friendly and, quite interesting, the instructions include, I quote ".....Vaginal safe....." So there you go ladies!
    • Does not leak
    • Easy to use / dispense
    • Not discreet
Follow-up commentary
I still like Jack Aide lube. Even though it's marketed for guys, I, being a lady, use it all the time. As I said in my review, it can be equally used by ladies. It's never sticky and I find I don't have to reapply too often - that's always nice, to not have to interrupt my play time.
