Wet body glide - water based lube by Wet Lubricants - review by Mamastoys

Wet Body Glide is a flavored, water based lube and can be used for oral sex or intercourse. The bottle claims it can be added to enhance natural moisture, and enhance intimacy. However, it does contain glycerin so if you are susceptible to yeast infections, I would suggest using it for oral only, and then washing it off before proceeding to intercourse. It is also latex friendly and can be used with latex condoms as well as other types of condoms. It is toy friendly too.

Wet Body Glide is a water based lube, therefore it is rather thin as you would expect for a water based. It comes out of the bottle easily and goes on smoothly. I used it initially while giving my hubby a blow job and it lasted a fairly reasonable amount of time. I did not have to reapply it, but probably could have for a longer lasting effect. After completing my mission, I did notice that when let unattended, it did seem to get a little tacky after a few minutes. It doesn't produce any numbing, chilling, warming, or tingling feelings, just additional moisture and added flavoring if used for oral.

When I first opened the bottle and removed the little silvery seal, like you find on a bottle of cough syrup, the first thing I noticed was a fruity smell. Since I had ordered the Pina Colada flavor, I expected a coconut smell. And this did smell like coconuts to a degree but initially it reminded me of Life Savers candies. Next, I proceeded to taste it and was surprised at how fruity it did taste. It tasted a little like coconut and a little like fruits. Combined, it made for a pleasant taste. There was no gooey taste to it and no nasty aftertaste. Wet Body Glide comes in five different flavors- strawberry, pina colada, blueberry, cherry, and passion fruit.

I was pleased with the overall performance of this lube. The smell, taste, and smoothness of it were pleasant enough, that this lube has been used several times. While it did get a little sticky after being used, it was easily cleaned up with warm water and a mild soap. I love the facts that this lube is sugar-free, and we don't have to worry about elevated blood sugars after using it.

It comes safety wrapped in plastic and is a 3.5 ounce bottle. The bottle itself is fairly tall, slender, and had an indention with ridges in the side, to assist in holding it when your hands get wet. It has a flip top style lid and a small opening so pouring can be controlled.

It is sugar free, clear, and non-staining. It does contain aspartame (sorry Sammi) which prevents some people from being able to use it due to intolerance of aspartame. The bottle also has another language other than English on it, possibly Spanish. I don't speak any other languages, so I'm not sure what it is it, but everything that is written in English is followed by this other language.

I am constantly looking for sugar free lubes to try, and I am pleased with this one. I have another Wet lube, the Wet Natural Sensual Strawberry Lube, which I do like a little more because it is glycerin free. However, the fruity taste of this Wet product is more pronounced that the strawberry taste of the Natural.

We have used this lube several times, and have enjoyed it each time. It only takes a small amount, about the size of a dime, to get things slick and slippery. The taste and slipperiness remained effective as long I needed it to, and then was easily cleaned up afterward.
