Wet gel lubricant review
Wet Gel is a great lube for initial insertion, but it fails to live up to the longevity test--it breaks down quickly and frequent reapplications are required.Published: April 28, 2008
Pros:
Thick, stays in place, surprisingly light-feeling, initially slippery
Cons:
Lubrication does not last long at all
Wet Gel is a lube with both some great strengths and a great weakness. It is, as stated, a gel lubricant, so it is fairly thick and easy to apply and definitely stays where you put it. It is also remarkably light-feeling for a thicker gel, creating a nice slippery feeling without being sticky or tacky. I found Wet Gel to aid enormously in insertion with a jelly toy, reducing almost all friction and making penetration a breeze.
It is also effective during intercourse, though its gel texture makes it heavier than I normally like for real-life play. It is actually quite ideal for use with condoms, at least initially, as it eliminates the “latex drag.”
Where Wet Gel falls short, surprisingly, is in its ability to last. For such a thick gel, it breaks down very quickly and becomes watery and ceases to provide much lubrication at all. I do not consider this a big deal during normal intercourse, where natural lubrication can help supplement it. However, with condom use or for toy play, reapplication is needed quite frequently. I eventually gave up trying to use it at all with jelly toys, since it could never last long enough to get the job done and I got tired of reapplying it.
Wet Gel is colorless and odorless, though it does have a fairly sweet, vaguely minty taste. It cleans up fairly easily for a thick gel lubricant, rinsing easily off toys and cleaning up off skin with some light soap or a baby wipe, to prevent any lingering tackiness. (It is not a sticky lube, but like most gels, will thicken if allowed to sit and start to feel a bit tacky.)
Overall, I think Wet Gel is a lube that just misses the mark due to the fact it does not last long at all and requires frequent applications. This would actually be a great lube when longevity is not a factor, such as “Venus-penis” style toys that only require lubrication for insertion.

Yeah, this one is making it to the trash. Not because it's a BAD lube, but just because it doesn't last. If you're able to orgasm in 30 seconds or less, give it a shot; otherwise, there are much better lubes out there. Perhaps surprisingly, though, I love their Wet Light for intercourse.

I have been using ID pleasure for years. I tried WET and it seemed to be a bit more watered down to me. Not a bad thing just not my thing.
Anyonee lse have this going for you too? -
I used to hate Wet products, they came off as cheap.
Until I tried their synergy line. I fell in love with both the original, and the tingle lubricant.
The Synergy is water and silicone mixed, which produces a gel. I hate water down lubricants.
As long as you don't use it with silicone toys, its fine. -
I used to feel the same way about wet

Why not the same looking containers for this product?

Why is the 3.5, the 4.8, and the 10 oz bottles of this lubricant sold in cool looking bottles, while the 0.8 amount and the 1.5 sold in smaller, weirder shapes? Why not miniatures of the cooler versions? Why a toothpaste looking bottle and a hand sanitizer looking bottle? Comments? Agreements?

Agreements?I'd assume that's just the bottles that the manufacturers felt were best for their item. Certain sizes will do better certain ways because of how they have to flex to squeeze the lube out.
Personally I don't care either way for stuff like this, none of the bottles are something I would want to display and the ease of use on all of them seems about the same, so it's not going to make a difference to me between the options. -

Agreements? At the size of the bottles for those smaller ones, the "neat" bottle wouldn't work. The little "handle hold" on the side of the bottle would actually be the entire length of the bottle. There just isn't enough product to warrant making the bigger bottle. However, if you contact Wet Lubricants, they always take suggestions well and could explain it further.
