What is it About Boy Butter?
This stuff is great if you're looking for nothing more than a jack-off lube. By since it is oil-based, I wouldn't want to recommend anyone use it internally, at least until we know why it's supposedly safe.Published: April 6, 2011
Pros:
Doesn't dry up, long-lasting, easy to clean off.
Cons:
As far as I can tell, only fulfills one purpose.
Experience
I have to say right away that I don't think I'm the target audience for this lube. Boy Butter is primarily a jack off lube, and being uncircumcised, I almost never use lube. I have no doubt that this substance fulfills its purpose for those who seek a lubricant for masturbation, but I personally did not find much use for it.
The manufacturer says that you can use it internally as well, but as it is an oil-based product, which you're not supposed to use inside you, I'm a little skeptical. Consistency-wise, I can see why it would seem like a good idea to use it anally. But I'd like to know a few more facts about the ingredients and why it's safer than other oil-based materials before I stick it inside me.

Do you like to watch your genitals as you masturbate? For the men, do you like to watch your ejaculation when you cum. What do you usually do right after coming? Just curious...

Safe for silicone?
-
My partner often experiences pain and discomfort during pegging when we use water based lubricants. He loves silicone lubes but they are not compatible with most of the cocks I use on him for anal. We've gotten in the habit of using natural oils for play, and they seem to be working best.
So that brings me to Boy Butter: has anyone here had any problems using it with silicone? I'm looking to invest in some but I'm not sure if it'll be compatible.
Thanks for your help, everyone! -
Based on Dwtim's Lube Compatibility Workshop, oil based lube should be fine with silicone. However, looking at Boy Butter, it contains phenyl trimethicone which I assume is a type of silicone. This may cause a reaction.
