System JO H2O lubricant by System JO - review by dopy

I was looking around to try a different lubricant for my toys and so on, and I found this one. I thought for sure it would be a great item because of all the positive reviews and rating it had. However, it was not as great as everyone made out it was. On delivery, in the box, the bottle was just placed in a clear packet. No box or anything to store it in, but the 2.5 fl. oz. is a very nice, discreet travel size, so there is no need for a storage container of any sort. The bottle was sealed, which is really nice. This way you know you’re getting the full amount intended. I ripped the seal off and smelled it. It did have a very faint odor, nothing that can really put you off. I would not describe it as a bad odor, either. The cap on the top is just a standard clip cap that that opens and closes, and it does not leak.

When using the System JO H2O lubricant for the first time, I noticed it was a bit thicker than my other lubricant, which could be good or bad depending on your preference. It definitely has a silicone feel, just like it says on the front of the bottle. Here's my problem with this lubricant: it certainly made everything slip and slide. However, after a few minutes, it got less slippery and seemed to have dried a bit. If you like things all slippy-slidey like me, you’re going to want to add more lubricant at this point. This was a huge deal breaker for me since the last thing I want to stop for once I'm "going" is to add more lubrication. As far as feel goes, it was really smooth and slick. Comparing this to a cheaper lubrication like "Smooth & slick lubricant," I think System JO H20 is incredibly overpriced. Not only do you get more with the other lubricant, it stays slick.

All in all, I wouldn't buy this lubricant again. I'd rather shop around for something that stays wet. Other than that, everything was just peachy. It feels good and clean-up is easy. Greatest thing about this one is that it's a travel size, but that you can get with any brand. Even though this was not the lube for me, I want to thank edenfantasys.com for letting me try this product.
