Wholly Vagina
This is a healthy water based lube. It works good for vaginal play, though it's not ideal for anal. It stays quite viscous for being water based. I think this is a good lube for anyone who wants a body safe lube for intercourse or vaginal play only. If anal is in your repertoire than find something else.Published: April 12, 2010
Pros:
Stylishly classy bottle, healthy, works well with silicone toys.
Cons:
Primary ingredient is not organic, uncomfortable for anal.
A health friendly water based lube containing an assortment of organic ingredients like green tea and aloe among others. Most of its ingredients are organic, though I was thoroughly disappointed that its main ingredient after water is not organic; Plant Cellulose(from Cotton). That was unfortunate considering everything else is organic. I can't imagine organic plant cellulose is hard to come by. Anyway it is packaged in a very stylish looking bottle. In fact the bottle looks classy enough you can practically keep it displayed with a sophisticated elegance on a bathroom shelf or nightstand without looking like a sex freak. Simply a connoisseur who takes wholesome healthy love making seriously.
The seemingly feminine theme for this lube and brand seemed fitting as it worked best for vaginal use. It works very good for silicone toys. It is clear in color with a slightly floral odor, and tastes like a mildly herby aloe (though I don't recommend eating it). It has a gel like consistency which makes it easy to apply because it isn't running all over the place like the more liquidy lubes.
It stays slippery for an ample amount of time and has a wonderfully smooth glide to it. Though sometimes the lube can get a little tacky and creamy looking after prolonged use. The main thing that I have noticed that I have not seen mentioned in the reviews here is that this lube gives a slight warming sensation. My girlfriend can feel it mildly in her vagina. But when using anal toys both she and I found it irritating and ultimately quite uncomfortable. Though I suppose this could be pleasurable for some, it was not for us as we prefer the cooling feeling of aloe based lubes (for the record aloe is the 3rd ingredient in here, preceded by plant cellulose from cotton and water). Overall for standard intercourse it is very enjoyable, silky, and gives a peace of mind that your not rubbing strange unpronounceable chemicals on you and your lover's precious jewels.

are any of the ingrediants fair trade?
-
Your best bet to get answers to questions like this is to either ask the Eden staff via support ticket, or contact the manufacturers directly.

Quote: are any of the ingrediants fair trade?I'd do some research on them, even send your question in to the company. That'd probably get you somewhere? I really don't know much about them. I've tried a couple lubes, but didn't even like em.

Too Sticky
-
Ive tried about every lubricant known to man at this point.. I can't find one that I like. They're too sticky, too runny, leaves a residue behind, dries out after too short of a time period. Im frustrated....Anyone have some good suggestions for me? Thanks!
-
I like the sliquid line, as I too have problems with sticky lube and tacky residue from them. I've only tried a few so far, the Sliquid Organics Silk is the best of them for this. The Sliquid Organics Gel only got sticky once on me, when I accidentally added way too much lube (was reviewing a toy that was larger than I am used to).

I like the Wet Synergy, the Shunga Toko Aroma, and the Fun Factory Body Fluid. To me, none of these have been sticky, although the Synergy and Body Fluid will probably leave a "residue" because they both have silicone in them. However I've found that wiping with a wipe has removed any of the residue that I was feeling.

We've used the naturals, how are the organics? Better, worse, same?

This is also of interest to me - I just ordered the naturals, but this organic gel caught my eye too.. wondering how it's different/better, if it is at all.

Expiration date?
-
What would be the shelf life of these?
-
I'm not an expert on lube but I usually toss stuff after one year. If it smells funny or anything you might toss it even sooner.
-
Yea I agree. Most of them dont really say much. But I wouldnt keep them in really hot or humid areas and sounds about right to tosss em out if you see anything different. (scent, color, etc)

Huh, I didn't notice any warming with my bottle of this lube. Maybe I wasn't paying enough attention? Nice review.

thanks for the review of an organic product!
Warming...? I wonder if the kind of ingredients in the lubricant just naturally heat up during sex? That is a very curious account.
Anyway, thanks for the review! It was very informative, love the mention about the cellulose.
Good Review!!!
