With a Cherry on Top!
I really like the subtle taste of this hypoallergenic water-based lube. I'd definitely suggest it to someone who is looking for a flavored lubricant.Published: April 9, 2009
Pros:
Body Safe. Subtle taste. Vegan.
Cons:
Needs to be reactivated with water, although this is common.
I have a shoe box full of lubes but am typically not a fan of flavored lubes. A lot of them don’t seem to take a woman’s health into account and include all sorts of scary ingredients (like sugar or glycerin) that I avoid whenever possible. Call me crazy, but I’m not a giant fan of yeast infections…
Sliquid’s Swirl is a thoughtful product that is glycerin-free and paraben-free. Also, for those of you who avoid animal products, you’ll be pleased to know that it is vegan and is never tested on animals! I think it’s important to support companies that don’t cut corners in an effort to make a buck, and Sliquid seems to be one of those.
I purchased the Cherry Vanilla flavor and in spite of the fact that I prefer the taste of girl, I really thought it was excellent and recommend it to those of you who enjoy flavored lubes. The taste is very subtle, which I thought was great, and didn’t leave a weird aftertaste or anything. It added to the experience without overwhelming my senses.
As a lubricant, I’d say it’s pretty average. It’s water-based and it does get sticky after a while, although this is pretty common. Of course, we were able to reactivate the lube with a little water and I think it’s a good product. That fact that it’s body safe and pretty cheap really makes it stand out amongst products that perform at the same level.
Water-based lubes are great because they are compatible with just about everything! The only time you don’t want to reach for this one is if you’re getting wet and wild. If you try to use a water-based lubricant in the shower or pool it’ll simply wash away!
To my surprise, I really liked this flavored lube and would recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a little something sweet in the bedroom. I’ll definitely check out other flavors in the future – especially green apple!

I've actually found myself using this pretty frequently, and have added the Green Apple flavor to my wish list. I'm practically drowning in lube right now, but once i run through a couple of bottles I'm going to check out a new flavor. I haven't discovered any issues worth reporting, and still recommend this to anyone who's curious about flavored lubes.

Sliquid Swirl Lubricant

Just wondering if anyone knows how these lubricants work for someone who is really sensitive to lubricants? I've only tried one Sliquid product previously, but I really liked it, so just wondering!
-
It depends, what do you mean by sensitive? Are there certain items in a lubricant that cause you to itch, come out in a rash, or what? Hard to know unless you give us more detail.
-
To be honest, I don't really know what the problem is. I usually have no luck with any lubricants that are warming, cooling, tingling etc. They cause a lot of burning and itching. I just can't stand them! I haven't really tried any flavored lubes, because I didn't want to risk it. I've tried the organics line of the sliquid and I really like them (and they don't cause any discomfort), so I was debating about trying one of their flavored ones. Just to give it a go and see if it works.

Thank you for viewing Sliquid swirl – lubricant review page!

Great review! I've never tried a flavored lube, because so many contain substances you DON'T want to get near a vagina, but I think you may have just convinced me on this one!
Thanks for a great review!
nice review!
