Not Yet delay gel for men desensitizes the penis, allowing one to maintain an erection for longer. Its active ingredient is benzocaine, the same drug often used for toothaches. It contains: cetearyl alcohol, dmdm hydantion, ethoxydiglycol, glyceril stearite, mineral oil, octylpalmitate, petrolatum, plysorbate 60, stearic acid, tetradisocium edta, triethanolamine. If you or your partner have allergies to any of these ingredients, you should stay away.

While this product can be used for masturbation or oral or vaginal sex, I do not recommend it for anal sex. The effects of this gel can carry over to your partner, and desensitizing the anus can be dangerous.

Not Yet Gel is sort of... goopy. Like slightly melted jello. It absorbs readily into the penis, and doesn't leave any residue behind, though just because you can't see it, that doesn't mean it won't rub onto or into your partner. (See "performance".)

This gel smells like a cherry lollipop. It's not strong, and is only noticeable when you actually sniff it. I did not taste it. I don't want a numb tongue.

Not Yet gel detracts from sensation. For men who want to last longer, that can be a very good thing. It adds about ten to fifteen minutes to the duration of an erection. My boyfriend enjoyed the fact that he was able to think about having sex with me the whole time, and didn't have to concentrate on anything else to last long. But if you have a sensitive partner, this gel could be a two-edged sword.

This gel didn't just reduce my boyfriend's sensations; it reduced mine as well. Even though it seemed to have absorbed completely into his skin, and he had applied it at least ten minutes before penetration, some of it obviously rubbed onto and into me. At first I didn't think it was bad, since sex was still a lot of fun. Then I had an orgasm. And it was not an interesting one. It was, in fact, a small, not very satisfying one. This is not normal for me when my boyfriend and I have sex. None of my orgasms were that great, actually, until the last one: the gel's numbing properties seem to have worn off me the same time they wore off him.

I would definitely recommend washing thoroughly after sex, if you use this. The thought of just leaving a numbing product on sensitive bits is not a good one.

I bought this product for roleplaying, since my boyfriend lasts long enough without it. But I don't think we'll be using it even for that, considering how it desensitizes me. However: it works. If your partner is not particularly sensitive, or you always use condoms, and you want or need to keep an erection longer, it will probably work well for you.
