I bought this after being less than satisfied with other lubes. We use lube for all situations, but the main reason I bought this was for anal play and sex. I also wanted a non sticky water-based lube. It seemed with other lubes we had in the past, they did the job, but not for as long. They also used to leave the sheets stained and left you feeling sticky. I had hoped that this would not be the case here, and I was not disappointed.

When I first got this product, it seemed much different than other lubes. Instead of running out, it was more stable, the consistency of Aloe Vera. But when I rubbed it between my fingers it spread out quickly and covered my fingers evenly. It stayed the same consistency even after warming up and absorbed into my skin, without a residue. This lube comes in a pump bottle which is more appropriate for its texture, and very easy to dispense. It took 1-2 pumps to jerk my boyfriend off, and we used about 3-5 for insertion without reapplying any. It was smooth, and easy once we were lubed up, which left me giddy. I don't think I'll buy another lube again. The first time we used it, I had a white crotchless number on, and was amazed that neither the outfit, or my sheets had any staining from the Maximus at all. This is huge! Most of the time we have hand prints and smudges all over the place.

Since it's water based and not sticky, you can use it with condoms, and not worry about it making the condom turn into a lint and hair roller, which is so disgusting.

You don't want to use this lube if you're going any where close to your mouth. It's purely for penetration and masturbation. I gave my boyfriend a blowjob on top of his handjob, and it was not a good taste. The nice thing is that it absorbs fast, so the taste didn't linger. I did not notice any real smell, so that was what I was more concerned with than taste. Some of the lubes on the market, smell down right funky.

I've used several lubricants, including Astroglide, K-Y Warming, and others that just really didn't measure up. Most of them get tacky after a little bit of use. This one absorbed in and lasted as long as we did. I've added it to my foreplay as well as the getting down and dirty. And on that note, there is sometimes a little extra that goes along with anal or vaginal sex, depending on when you do it, of the body fluid variety.

I'll add again, this is so great with clothing and sheets, almost cleaner to use this lube every time you have sex to protect your lingerie! It doesn't leave any extra residue behind, so when you are having regular PG/R sex, it really doesn't require any extra cleaning up. A towel, or warm water on a wash cloth seems to be all the clean up you need. I'll mention again, that I'd give the blowjob, before adding the lube, not great tasting and not necessary for the act either.

I'm writing this in winter, and my room tends to be cooler all the time, but of course more now. I suggest warming this in your hands before putting it on his penis. The first time I did this without warming it first, he let me know that it was too cold. It was a good thing I was jerking him off, so it warmed quickly.
