You Might As Well Use Water

This is a lube I don’t recommend unless you like very thin and runny lubes. It is water based so it is compatible with all materials, and is easy to wash off. It has a handy pump top which makes it easy to manage.

Use

This is a water based lubricant you can use with any sex toy materials, or for intercourse since it is compatible with all condoms as well. It is most likely too thin for anal use.

If you are the kind of person who doesn’t like much lubricant, this will probably work for you. It is slick enough to give you a nice kick-start with a toy, and your natural lubricant can take over.

It contains some parabens, but there’s no glycerine. It would be a good idea to do a patch test on your skin to make sure you have no reactions.
Here are the ingredients if you are curious: Water, HEC, PEG 45, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Polyquaterium 5 Tetrasodium EDT, Germall II Sodium Benzoate, Aspartame, Polysorbate 20, Aloe Vera Extract, Ginseng Extract, Guarana Extract, Avena Sativa Extract, Sodium Hydroxide, Propylene Glycol, Citric Acid

It has a little pump top which is good for getting the exact amount you want. If it had a flip cap, the lube would be very messy to pour, and you would be getting it everywhere. The pump makes it easier to manage in my opinion. The pump can be turned to one side so you don’t have to worry about accidentally dispensing it, which is a nice feature.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

Pink Water is very thin and runny. Toys with material that has a lot of drag, such as matte silicone or TPR, will suck up this lube very quickly and you’ll have to keep reapplying.

It is smooth and slick, but since it is so watery, it doesn’t last that long. It absorbs too quickly, and I find I’m going through the bottle way more quickly than I’d like. When I dab it on my arm, it dries and becomes very sticky. Luckily it washes off easily with warm water and soap.

Taste / Aroma

This lube smells horrible, and tastes even worse. When I twist open the cap, I can smell all the chemicals. The taste is very bitter, and sometimes I wonder if I should be using this lube inside me. You will definitely want to avoid this for oral play.

Performance

While the taste and smell of the lube are not great, it doesn’t take away from the whole experience of using it. It still allows some toys to be inserted much easier, I just wish it was a bit thicker so it could last longer.

The pump top is a handy feature that makes it very easy to dispense. The lube will drip everywhere, so it is better to apply it directly to whatever you plan on using, and spread it around quickly.

Packaging

The bottle comes sealed in plastic wrapping. The bottle itself contains all the information you need to know right on it. It’s not discreet, however, it is very informative.

I got the 3.25 ounce bottle, but there is a larger one, and a travel size one if you just want to test it out.

Experience

There are a ton of ingredients in here, and I’m surprised I haven’t gotten any irritation. It has a nice natural consistency, but just don’t expect it to last a long time. I don’t like to waste anything, so I’ll use this up before throwing it away.
Follow-up commentary
Even though i don't really like this lube, I ended up using all of it just to finish it up. It's serves it's purpose, but it is too thin so I continually have to reapply it because it absorbed too quickly. I will definitely not be getting this lube again.

I just bought a bottle of this yesterday. I didn't notice any smell (I didn't taste it), but some people are more sensitive to smells than others, and I didn't put it close to my nose. I agree that it is thin, but I think Astroglide is actually worse. Thanks for the review.

    • System JO seems to work pretty good for water based lubes, Better Sex essentials is the best I have tried when it comes to Silicone based.

      I actually like pink water's packaging...

      In general no I wouldn't be turned off a highly rated lube if I didn't like its packaging. I'm not buying it for what it looks like, I'm buying it for how it works.
