This toy was definitely designed
My husband decided one night after me telling him about all the kinky things you can find on the internet that he would surprise me with something. I was expecting something to do with anal sex since he has developed a fixation on it recently but I would never have thought of something like this. The whole idea of spraying something on my back door just seems weird. I was willing to try it so one night we finally opened it and the spray nozzle didn't want to work right. Having to spend several minutes trying to make it work was frustrating. Once we did fix it I soon discovered this is a hard spraying nozzle. I was expecting a soft spray to hit me (wouldn't you?). I almost felt assaulted when he sprayed it on me!
The description says that the
EZ anal gel is supposed to absorb quickly into the skin and take effect almost immediately. I personally did have it absorb quickly on me but that wasn't good for a lube and the effect was almost non-existent. Even after giving it a few minutes and a couple applications it still didn't do anything dramatic to desensitize my anus. I am suspicious that it is because it dried fast. It wasn't a good lube like we though it should be. It wasn't very slick even after the multiple applications we went through. We ended up giving up that night and trying again a couple days later using a different lube in combination with this.
My hubby tried spraying it in his hand and then apply it to me before he applied our favorite anal lube. In this combination I noticed that with the higher level of lidocaine from the spray it was a nice addition to our anal lube that has a smaller amount of it. I can't enjoy it by itself but in combination with a good anal lube this does a good job helping me relax my muscles and feel less pain.
EF has been in the talks of removing all anal desensitizers.
Pain doesn't need to be part of anal sex, and in fact, should not be. Like Betty said, pain is a sign of a problem- your body's way of telling you to slow down or stop. Use good lube, take your time, warm up properly.

Numbing only decreases the only symptom of a problem in anal sex, and that is pain. There is nothing on the market to use, only the great advice of AAG. Relax, slow down, and use good lube.
I thought you weren't supposed to use any numbing agents with anal sex?? Or any sex in general?
This is *not* meant to take the place of a good anal lube! Its only purpose is numbing.
With proper preparation, lube and willingness of the part of the receiving partner, anal sex should *not* be painful. It should *not* require any numbing at all.
Instead of using this, go slower and use a good lube like Maximus.
How did you give it three stars? It doesn't sound like it works well, by itself.
I have been looking around for a good anal desensitizer and have been wondering if this one was any good so, thanks for the information and I will be looking elsewhere now! =)
