You won't believe it's not
Versatile and user-friendly, Boy Butter is worth having as an option in your lube arsenal. Not to mention that it is named perfectly.Published: July 1, 2009
Pros:
Works well with almost any toy. Easy to apply and manipulate.
Cons:
Dries out on bare skin easily. Incompatible with latex. Can't cook with it.
How have I gone this long without submitting a review of Boy Butter? I guess I rarely run across it when browsing the site; it’s listed somewhat oddly, I would argue. I also find it a little ironic that the Eden store would list this under the category of jack off lubes. I actually find that using Boy Butter in connection with a hand job is among its least effective uses. It dries off much too easily on my palm.
I see that other reviewers disagree with me, but I just find that skin-to-skin is not Boy Butter’s strength, you’re better off going with something that is inherently moister. I do naturally have very dry skin, so maybe that has something to do with it. I find that it works best in places that have a certain amount of moistness to begin with, if you know what I mean (and I’m sure you do). We’ve used it with most of our toys, and it plays along quite nicely. The one thing you do have to be careful with is condoms, as the oils can degrade latex.
The best thing about Boy Butter (besides the cheeky name - how fun is that?) is that it’s incredibly easy to apply – just dip your fingers in and pull out as much or as little as you want. I generally prefer not having things overly slick, and so having a lube where you can be sure of the amount is a huge plus. It also will go exactly where you want it to, rather than run all over the place like its liquid cousins.
With its ease of application, you probably won’t have huge issues with stains, but if you do, it’s also very easy to clean up. It is oil, so you might need to use a little soap, or throw some items in the laundry, but any spots will come right out like butter. (Sorry, I couldn’t resist…)

male and female masturbation

Do you like to watch your genitals as you masturbate? For the men, do you like to watch your ejaculation when you cum. What do you usually do right after coming? Just curious...

Safe for silicone?
-
My partner often experiences pain and discomfort during pegging when we use water based lubricants. He loves silicone lubes but they are not compatible with most of the cocks I use on him for anal. We've gotten in the habit of using natural oils for play, and they seem to be working best.
So that brings me to Boy Butter: has anyone here had any problems using it with silicone? I'm looking to invest in some but I'm not sure if it'll be compatible.
Thanks for your help, everyone! -
Based on Dwtim's Lube Compatibility Workshop, oil based lube should be fine with silicone. However, looking at Boy Butter, it contains phenyl trimethicone which I assume is a type of silicone. This may cause a reaction.

Thank you for viewing Boy butter – lubricant review page!

It's kind of scary how this looks and sounds like butter. I can see it accidentally getting thrown in the fridge somewhere, by someone thinking that the butter got left on the counter. Or possibly the bedroom floor.
It IS a cheeky name! Thanks for the review!
